CIARRA AWS6903D 60cm Visor Cooker Hood Undercabinet Hoods Wall Mounted Kitchen Extractor Fan 600mm Top Vented Range Hood

First of all you have to be realistic - this is not a state of the art top of the range hood. It's tinny, it's noisy, the filters are small and the drop down door is fairly flimsy. That said for anyone on a budget this is a great little buy. It can be fixed to the wall via the screws at the back, there are holes in the top which allow fixing to the underside of a bridging unit or sit it on panels attached to the units either side. It can be recirculated or vented. It has a front light, 3 fan settings and the drop down door can be removed but take care with the sharp edges. It also plugs straight into a wall socket but note that there is a kettle style connector halfway along the cable so you may have to drill holes into units. The slim design also gives it a good modern look. Bottom line is this will do the job at a fraction of the cost and do it quite well for the price.

This extractor cooker hood is very well built and extremely easy to install. I was surprised to find that it was equipped with a moulded plug attached to 4 feet of flex. This is a class 2 piece of hardware that doesn't require earthing. The fan is very powerful even though it uses a max of just over 83 watts and the light is led and although not fabulously bright lights up the cooker well enough.For the price this extractor is very good value.👍

This is a great value unit and now I installed it everything is fine. I didn't realise all the bits I need were *inside the unit*! I thought they forgot to pack the instructions, cable, outlet adaptor etc Please put a sticker on the unit to say this.Anyhoo this works fine and, on my installation, ducts all those cooking smells outside. No more bedrooms smelling like a chippy!

Very good quality and quick delivery

Cooker hood was dented on the front. Seller was unhelpful, luckily Amazon stepped in and refunded it. Great customer service from Amazon as usual. Seems to do it's job okay, bit tinny weak sounding. Very light. Looks good.

The kitchen extractor itself looks and works fine.Unfortunately the plastic flapper arrived initially partly broken, I suspect on assembly state.Amazon support has offered immediate return and full refund in a form I have chosen.It's reasons for 5* review.Anyway, I like this extractor and its materials, assembly, so I plan to order it again. And hopefully next time will have a better luck.

Product arrived damaged, and despite many exchanges of emails with the customer support, prommising to send a replacement part, it never arrived. I've had to install it with the damaged part, as I had no option. Item works ok, but overtall it is very flimsy. The kitchen installation is not yet complete so I havern't had the chance to see if it is effective. I certainly wouldn't buy again due to non-existant (in practice) customer service which is based in Hong Kong.
