Great quiet vacuum pump. No it will not move 15L of liquid through a fine-frit filter in a minute, not even close (I believe the spec refers to the volume of air moved when it's not connected to anything (ie not fighting a vacuum), but it does build a vacuum very quickly (at least in a 1L flask), doesn't leak pressure when turned off, and is very quiet and easy to move around. Very practical shape and design and comes with a high-quality hose. The pressure gauge is a great feature also and it's nice, for safety, that there's an external power supply that sends a low voltage to the pump itself. Zero complaints. If you're thinking about buying one of those $30 pumps and plan on using it more than a few times, or want something that works really well and that you can verify is actually working (thanks to the gauge), buy this one instead.

This review is for the LACHOI Lab Diaphragm Vacuum Pump 15L/min Flow Rate Oil Free Vacuum Positive and Negative Pressure for Filtration Distillation Laboratory with Rubber Tube (Filtering Flask not Include).I use the LACHOI for vacuum filtration, as shown in the attached photograph. I would also like to use the LACHOI for removing air from vacuum food containers but I have not figured out how to make the hose connection.I am not using the LACHOI supplied rubber tubing, because I doubt that it is food safe. I purchased other tubing that is specified to be food safe silicone.Five stars.
