This is actually my second set of exactly the same pieces, because I like them so much - having a backup set is great.I love them, because I find that it's a very versatile petal. It has a soft, neutral shape that works nicely for a variety of flowers, not just hydrangeas. The veiners give just enough texture to the petals to look realistic. The cutters cut cleanly, which is so important with these petals - the last thing you need is to be adding extra time to clean up your edges.I used them with a combo of roses-petal cutters/veiners to make ranunculus flowers. Having a little diversity in shape and size makes the flowers look much more realistic. I got a lot of compliments, and a few people didn't realize the flowers weren't real, which is the best compliment of all!I'd definitely recommend this set.

My daughter does a lot of work with polymer clay, and these work really nicely for that, too! The petal texture is very pretty. They're kind of large, but she can work around that.
