Fantastic PETG Filament with Impressive Speed and Quality!
The ELEGOO Rapid PETG Filament has exceeded my expectations! The 1.75mm filament feeds smoothly and consistently, and the beige color has a clean, professional finish that looks great on all my prints. What really stands out is the high-speed capability—printing anywhere between 30-600mm/s is a game changer! Even at higher speeds, the quality remains top-notch with minimal stringing or warping.I also appreciate how easy it is to work with compared to other PETG filaments I've used. It adheres well to the bed, and the results are strong and durable. Overall, this filament offers excellent value for both quality and speed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for reliable, fast-printing PETG!

my favorite filament yet!
This filament has been such a great experience after getting retraction worked out! prints very smoothly and is able to be printed at high speeds! i currently have been printing with it at 1mm retraction (direct drive extruder) 300 mm/s 260 degrees C and have had fantastic results! supports break away easy but the parts themselves do not break! i printed a sheet roughly 3" x 4" just to see how far i could bend it without it breaking and i was actually able to fold it in half without it snapping in half! i then tried to continuously bend it back and forth to see if i could get it to tear or beak and it still wouldn't! i am extremely happy and impressed with this PETG as i have mainly only printed in PLA, but it is safe to say im probably never going back to PLA and this is going to be my go to company to get my materials from! With how bad of a name PETG has for stringing, the stringing that i have is extremely minimal, thinner than a strand of hair strings here or there but not all over the place or at every move like ive seen soooo many videos have happen with various brands of course. those little strings are easily fixed with a quick wave over the stove at low heat and then you are left with perfectly printed parts that feel even more smooth with a slightly more glossy finish! i HIGHLY recommend ELEGOO's RAPID PETG filament! after my first spool used i have been hooked and have ordered more spools in various colors and cant wait to try them! Again I am extremely satisfied and very happy with the affordability of the filament, the speed you are able to print, the strength of the prints, the finish of the prints, and the stringing is a very negligible amount as to not be concerned with! ELEGOO has earned my business! my ONLY complaint is there is a limited amount of colors currently available and i really hope to see more variety with colors which i hope include color shifting, glow in the dark, and glittery styles! Thank you ELEGOO again for making this filament so easy and quick to work with! the bigger tube object is a fully 3D printed lamp i am currently working on, printing the led tube / lamp shade piece in white! and will be adding that to the photos after it is complete! Again THANK YOU ELEGOO for making such a great filament that is able to handle higher speeds and is VERY durable!

Great stuff. Read this if you’re having trouble
I fought with this stuff for a while on my ender 3 and here’s what I’ve found:-You don’t need to dry it. I’ve let it sit out for weeks and can still print awesome looking and very functional parts (I’ll admit that I live in colorado, but we’ve had a lot of rain/humidity lately).-You don’t need a heated enclosure, you don't even need an enclosure at all.-You don’t need fancy plated nozzles or silicone socks for your hotend (though they don't hurt to have).-THE FIRST LAYER IS ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING.To get good prints, do this:Make sure your build plate is properly leveled. Then, go to your slicer settings and adjust the FIRST LAYER settings to have a print speed of 30-50 mm/s, a layer height of 0.2mm or shorter, and a bed temp of 70-80 degrees C. The rest of the layers you can print at whatever settings you want, though I would suggest also increasing your z-hop height during any kind of traveling. I print this stuff very successfully (now) anywhere from 50-550 mm/s, but I tend to keep it at 500 mm/s.Printing the first layer at a very short height and slow speed helps the filament to really squish onto the build plate without the “squish” (line width) protruding too far from each side of the nozzle. If you go too fast or lay down too tall/wide of a layer, the filament will cling to the sides of the nozzle much easier and then start ripping up whatever has already been printed until you have a big stringy gloopy mess (or a ruined hotend that is completely encased in molten plastic). This stuff is great though, it prints faster than PLA and has such good layer adhesion that it creates very strong and functional parts (I use it for gears and other high strength applications). Its weirdly cheap too!! Hope this helps someone :)

Prints easily like PLA!
This stuff is great, it prints easily like PLA. This will be a review on the transparent 'color', but I have also purchased the black color and have had great results! Printed on Bambu Lab X1C. (See photos for both colors!)Pros:- Can achieve very high max volumetric speeds (22 mm^3/s)- Minimal stringing when dried properly- Not as finicky as conventional PETG. Less of a learning curve.- Transparency is quite high when using the right settings - see below- Sticks VERY well to Textured PEI plates. (Lower temps to 65 degrees C to promote better releasing, or use releasing agent, such as glue.)Cons:- One spool wasn't properly wound, and got jammed in the AMS- As noted in 'Pros' section, sticks VERY well. Be sure to adjust bed temperatures, if necessary.- Can stick to the nozzle like conventional PETGTips:- To achieve better transparency do one, or all of the following: Higher nozzle temps (260-265); Lower printing speeds (can also lower max volumetric flow rate); Reduced fan speeds (and higher layer times)- Dry for at least six hours at 60 degrees C. More time would be better!- If running on Bambu: be sure to calibrate flow rateDefinitely will now be my go-to for PETG!

Great budget filament
This is going through my P1S and is my go to PETG. It just works and easy to transfer to the Bambu spools.I dry it overnight and get great prints with no stringing. Perfect value for money.

The print quality is just okay, but the finish is shiny, not matte.
I 3D print on a Creality K1 Max with filament dryer, yielding consistent and flawless prints. However, this filament gives only average printing quality, appearing very shiny, which gives it a cheap look.

Elegoo hält was es verspricht

Great Filament, Requires Modification for Bambu Lab X1C AMS
The ELEGOO Rapid PETG filament in yellow and orange is fantastic for 3D printing, offering excellent quality and adhesion. However, it doesn’t work with the Bambu Lab X1C AMS without some modifications. Once adjusted, it prints beautifully. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great PETG filament, just be prepared to tweak your setup for the AMS!

Amazing Filament!
Love this product for high speed easy printing. But after 5kg with another 4kg on the way, the last 25% to 33% is wet and changes the print dramatically without changing any settings. I reached out to the manufacturer but got no response. -1 star for the product and -2 for the lack of support on the issue.**Update**: The manufacturer eventually got back to me and made things right with replacement. I haven't had any issues printing since. I highly recommend this product**Update: Ive been printing with this filament ever since and have had zero issues. Printing now at 500mm/s and everything looks great. This stuff is the best PETG!
