Sure, you could get a regular sketchbook at the store, it may make the pang of Watchung your kid draw one little doodle individually on every single page, but will it bring the same joy that Stitch does? Of course not! Very cute, brightly colored and sturdy sketchbook! Stitch is of course, adorable. There is a decent amount of pages for beginner artists and I like that the drawing pages are a little smaller than the cover and back of the book. So when your tiny artist starts going ham scribbling, dotting, painting or whatever they prefer, and goes off the page, it won't get all over everything or themselves haha. Nice and self contained. Cute little set of pencils and sharpener. It would be cool if they had incorporated a way to hold them like a pencil case binded in with the pages. But let's be real, it's all going to get lost anyway and new ones will be bought eventually haha. Very cute for any little Disney artist or collector.

My 6 year old loves this-the paper is thick and you can tear each piece out if you want to. Comes with a small set of markers, pencil sharpener and eraser

I like that this comes with colored pencils and the book is a hardcover. It came with the pencils but not too many color options. It’s ok.l because I have others that I can use. The paper is plain and I can easily sketch something in the book. Very cute and my little one really likes to draw in it.

Little bit of everything, this Stitch sketchbook is perfect for little girls starting their artistic journey. The few colors, erasers, and sharpener makes it enough to keep busy on the go, yet light enough to not burden. The cover is protective enough to keep it from getting destroyed. Nice set!

The paper is thin and smooth, perfect for sketching!! The paper is a light blue color so don't expect it to be white. The sharpener is sharp and doesn't break the pencils when used. The eraser is awesome! We used it with the colored pencils provided and there is almost no color left behind. Very nice set. The only problem I had was trying to open the pencil packaging because it was sealed so completely! The covers are sturdy and thick which protects the pages and drawings inside as well!
