I can’t stop buying these! Nothing holds a flame to these in durability.These are the only leashes I use on my dogs and they drag them everywhere. Leash laws means they have to have a leash on. These things get dragged through mud, dirt, snow non stop. Just wash off and they’re good as new. The seams never rip, the leather wears a bit but holds like a boss. I don’t keep buying them because they break I keep buying them because I keep loosing them and I can’t function without them.I breed dogs, I train dogs, I back this brand and their product fully

Update 10/1/2015:I purchased a second leash since I loved the first one so much, and I discovered that not all styles are alike. My first leash was the orange color and uses a solid braid nylon rope, which means it uses strands made of a single material that all travel in the same direction and alternate between forming the outside and inside of the rope. It feels very solid and doesn't kink or stretch, and is quite comfortable to hold.The second rope I purchased was the "high-viz yellow" color and used a much different construction. This one has a diamond-braided (crisscross) sheath surrounding a core of some other material. The rope has a bit more stretch and tends to kink when twisted. It doesn't feel as as soft or flexible. If you look at the close-up images of the ropes, you can see the difference in design.Although both styles seem to be of very high quality, I highly prefer the leashes that are made with solid-braid rope rather than the diamond-braid models. From the images, the diamond braided ropes appear to be the yellow and the various "confetti" colors.**********I love this leash! I volunteer with dog rescues and always take this leash with me when I work with the dogs, and of course I use it every day with my own dogs. I love that I don't have to be concerned about dogs with cheap collars or no collar - I just widen the loop to slip it right over the pup's head without causing distress and then use the leather slider to prevent it from loosening up.The lightweight rope is comfortable to hold and easy on the dog's neck, but very strong and not too stretchy. I use the 1/2" size on all sizes of dogs ranging from a 140 lb Newfoundland to a 3 lb terrier puppy and it always works great.The quality is excellent with strong stitching and a very solid feel. Highly recommended

Slip leads are great training tools. I love to use this when I am teaching dogs to swim. This holds up well in the water, doesn't smell which is great and it washes up well. This is a comfortable leash to hold, fits well in your hand. It is very easy to adjust to fit any size dog. I love the orange because I can see it anywhere. The leather part holds the slip lead to the size you need on the dogs neck. Great product, if I am not using a prong collar I use this. Great for using with puppies while training. Don't use as a tie out.

Purchased after watching multiple people around our dog park have and use them on top of seeing them in all the rescue shows and TV/ DogTV. At first use was a little reluctant that he would use the leash as intended and was supposed to ( watched some online training beforehand so I knew it wasn't just like a latch collar and leash) he liked to bite at the rope itself because of how it sat different and he likes sometimes to carry a piece of the leash in his mouth ( doesn't pull or try to lead you, shaking, no dominance issue etc, he just liked having a piece in his mouth... weird but OK ) I thought it would take away from the max control you get when using this lead. It didn't, after him adjusting to it and some training on my part on to hold it half taught, and then a quick "bite or pull" if he needs corrected the leash worked perfectly. It also helped in situations where he definitely needs the correction he knows the bite/pull means hes doing something wrong. It gives max control without being as harsh as the pinned choker correction collars.The size of the rope itself also works great for our St Bernard so extra large dogs have no issue. Although there are versions where its harnessed, so if you do fear that your extra large dog wont be held back by and corrections with the lead don't be you could go that route although after proper practice with you and your dog you really don't need it in my opinion although it would be preference.

I am a volunteer dog walker at New York City's Animal Care & Control. The dogs are mostly large pit bull mixes so they are very strong, some never received proper obedience training so they pull and pull on our walks and others are only a year or two old so they have strong puppy bursts of energy, this lead and my muscles keep them from running off!The leather handle at the end of the lead is also a nice feature that allows my hand to get a good grip if need be. The slip lead is super easy to get onto the doggies' heads.

I am owner operator of a boarding kennel. We use these leads daily putting dogs out to the yard & then back up. We keep dogs of every size & shape. I love these leads they do everything that they are supposed to do. They slip on & off the pups quickly & easily. Simple perfection, I give them 5 stars

This lead is well made and of good quality. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the usable length of the lead is less than 6 feet. It appears they cut a 6 foot portion of rope and then fold it over to make the handle, which makes this lead closer to 5 feet in length.

This is a perfect versatile leash for many situations. While our dogs are mostly able to be off-leash, this easy to loop over the dog's head leash allows a quick connection when you need it. I always keep one in my car and have used it more than once when I found a stray running on the road and wanted to secure it to get the dog to safety and then to find its owner. Works even when the dog is not wearing a collar or can often be "lassoed" over a skittish dog's head. Have bought several over the years and the ones that are over 10 years old are as good as they were the day they were bought.

Soft on the hands.The adjustable slider stays in place.Well built.Pretty colour, bright for our walks that have to include a highway.Length is great to allow for potty stops.

Really good quality slip lead. Only used a few times so far, but the stopper is secure and it feels very secure. Best one I’ve found yet.

I like the colour. it is able to hold my 150lb rottweiler. Sturdy. The price was a little higher then I expected. i would recommend this product.
