The hat is very pretty and well made , I wear my with the cord because on windy days can blow away ,I bought three of them . Great for the beach or taking a walk.

I wore this all summer, especially when we were outside sunbathing in the swimming pool. It is adjustable for any size of head, and has a large bill in the front to keep the sun out of your eyes.The embroidery on this makes it special and extra pretty !

I like the fact that the brim is very wide and keeps the sun off your face. It’s stiff, which is perfect and does not bend and flop around. It stays in place. it fits very well. The only thing I don’t like about it is the slippery nylon fabric. It slides around on your head too much. This would be much better made with canvas on the top part like the brim is. The design is nice. the color is really cute and I love the flowered fabric inside the brim. I would give it a five if the whole thing was made of canvas

I get so many compliments on how cute it is, but it’s also very functional. I wear it to the beach, lake, pool, amusement park, and anywhere I know I’ll be outside for long and it’s held up. I’ve gotten it wet repeatedly in the pool and lake, and it keeps its shape. It’s flexible and can flatten out so I packed it easily for vacation, unlike my other straw hat. The brim is oversized, so it shades my face beautifully. I really like that I can wear my long up and it perfectly fits in the opening in the back of the hat. I couldn’t have designed it better myself. The only area of improvement would be that the Velcro started to separate from the hat after the first time I wore it. I sewed it back on, and now it’s very durable. I wish they would have attached the Velcro better. I should take a star off for this, but I love it so much, that I can’t.

I like the hat a lot because:It's super stylish (modern looking style) while being functional.It's lightweight and looks like it will hold up well over time/outside abuse.The adjustable velcro is great (might be a hair short if you need to snug it down alot).Some surprises I didn't consider:The visor is big (reason I bought it) but you have to mediate how far up to wear it on your forehead in order to see un-obstructed. It makes the visual issues of a baseball hat (like hitting your head because you are looking down and the don't see things like open cabinet doors, tree branches, etc) much more significant.The lightweight hat WILL blow off or get knocked right off if you bump it. Tightening helped but increase my discomfort on the seam on the forehead (see below). Not convinced it won't still blow off easily.The hat may NOT cover the ears as well as it appears in the photo for an adult sized person. It covers the top edge of mine, just barely enough to say it covers them at all. The brim ends immediately behind my ear and pulling it down to cover ears more would mean either having it tilted funny on the head or pulled down too far to see. So ear coverage not as photographed.People with mast cell or other histimine-related disorders which make sun exposer a constant challenge should consider:The hat leaves the back of the head exposed. Seems obvious, given the design, but I failed to consider this. Braiding my hair means any parts on the top or back of my head will get sun. I can't have sun on my face or ears, so don't know yet if this will be a problem.During morning and evening sun the brim provides very little coverage. The low angle of the sun allows it to shine right on your face unless you tilt your head to shade yourself (gets uncomfortable quickly). Depending on your area of the country, this could mean several hours of sun per day which this hat will not provide shade.If you also react to pressure, seams, or are sensitive to the poly edge-liner fabric often found on bras and hat seams, you may find the inside edge that sits on your forehead to be very bothersome and itchy. I was able to rub a bar style lotion across the seam to minimize the scratch/itch, but it's still a constant. I may hot glue some soft fleece there to help.SO, I'm a love-it but it's far from perfect review here. The styling really is adorable. The hat should be comfortable to most people and easy to wipe down, store, and use. For the cost, its a great value. Late morning until later afternoon, the hat will provide great full-face coverage. It even shaded most of my chest mid-day when working outside. But beware of the morning and evening low-sun angles with this hat.I would only buy again after trying some others first.

Brought this to wear at the gym for outdoor aerobics class in a pool. This allowed me to put my hair up easily and gave me good coverage on my head and eyes. It dries easily when wet. I haven't washed it yet. It is very lightweight, goog quality, and nice color with a touch of the flower.

I have an old sun hat with a ponytail hole which was getting worn so I decided to replace it for a vacation. This hat is much easier to wear with a large bun - I use a claw type hair clip and it easily wraps around it. My head is entirely covered, and my ears and face are covered. The back of my neck is still exposed to the sun, but that’s to be expected with a visor type hat. I got the navy one, which isn’t gaudy so I don’t mind wearing it in public instead of just in my garden.

I love the the hat its beautiful one part is missing the adjustable string but it's okay I can still use it with out the string
