S7 has a curved contour, so a perfectly matching curvature is required. This one is not quite true here, so the glue is not able to hold the sides well

When one of my boys dropped his S7 (again) and completed smashed up the back, I took a punt and ordered this replacement back battery cover plate. His phone is now like new. It's well packaged and protected, and looks really really nice. Having the new camera lens is also a bonus because the original ones do get tarnished over time.In terms of fitting, the instructions are clear, and you do get a free toolkit with everything you need and more. My only advice is to take your time. If your backplate is shattered, use masking tape to cover it all up. Then use a hairdryer to soften the glue underneath, while easing it off the main phone chassis with one of the included plastic tools. Make sure all of the original adhesive is complete removed before fitting the new part. You can have the whole thing done in five minutes. Don't worry about your technical ability - there really is nothing to it. I regularly burn toast.Highly recommended product.

At first I thought this was just a plastic replacement for the glass back but the glass back is the same, seems to be glass on top of plastic. Used one of the many youtube vids to show how to remove the badly cracked back using a hairdryer to heat the edges and a knife to separate it. The glue come away with the old back. The new back fitted well with no issues and looks good. Shame they didn't supply a tiny bit of glue to go with it though.

It looked quite thin when I got it out of the packaging. Once the old back was removed I realised it was the same. I can't honestly tell the difference now it's on my phone. I am very pleased ..well worth £14.99 !!

Great replacement for a broken back cover. Getting the old cover out is not feasible with the tools provided though. I used a hair dryer and a Stanley knife to get started. Almost stripped the wireless charging circuit out in the process. Once the old is out and the back cleaned from adhesive the new one sticks on easily.

Easy to remove old back cover with hair dryer and scalpel, new cover with new camera glass with tape removed fitted perfect. Easy DIY job

This was so easy to put on an a good quality back would have liked at little more adshive in it as didn’t feel sticky enough but overall done a great job in replacing back of phone

The cover fits fine but does not last more than 6 months, breaks apart. Wish they put in some quality into the stuff. Thank you.
