Comfy!
The mattress is squishy soft but has just enough firmness to it. I love the nice quality storage bag it comes with. Sewn-on handles on the ends of the mattress for ease of carrying/moving are a nice plus. My daughter has been using it in her room and loves it. (The cat also approves.) Definitely recommend for a variety of different uses!

First Tri-Fold Mattress Purchase?
I know this one is labeled as a "topper", but honestly—we snagged this one when we had the opportunity, because my household is passionate about hosting, and we often find ourselves utilizing our extra "stowed away" beds for our guests. These are: air mattresses, put-away twin beds, futons, etc. This seemed like the perfect thing for us: a thick, Queen-sized mattress that has the ability to be folded up and stored more easily than the average.Let me just say: yes, this thing has a very distinct smell out of the package. I'm usually not sensitive to this stuff, but this one packed a doozy. However, it proved SO COMFORTABLE, that my small family of five (including two dogs), lounged on it right away. We were crammed, on the floor, submerged in a vaguely intense smell, yet we were all so comfortable that we were beaming! This thing is truly comfortable. It's got that "dense memory foam" feel. For those who love that feeling, this is your "creme de la creme" mattress topper. For those whose backs (or preferences) agree with the TempurPedic feel may not have the most enjoyable time with this. The outside cover doesn't seem easy to stain, and is soft to the touch. Overall, this is a truly great bed: I love it. Easy to store, lighter than its size would indicate, and comfortable enough for daily usage, I think. I feel as though, if you were the type to host often (as we do), guests would feel pampered laying on this thing.

High quality, comfortable, nice storage bag
I was a little skeptical of this because it so big even folded down, but I absolutely love this. The mattress is surprisingly comfortable. I'd consider it more on the soft side but still kind of firm. Much better than a blow up mattress! It's a nice thick pad and I feel like it supports my weight really well so I don't feel like I'm sleeping on the floor (I'm an average sized woman). The mattress is obviously still kind of bulky, but I think its worth making space for on trips because it's much better than a couch or air mattress. It also comes with a sturdy bag (that has nice handles) for easy carrying which I love. The material is high quality as well!I will say, make sure you take it out of the box long before you intend to sleep on it! It took a while for it to air out and smell normal!

So soft and hardy
Out of the packaging, this mattress topper is gorgeous. The cover looks like a silky heather gray sweatpants material. It's so soft and smooth, and it's so thick too that I have no worries about tears or wear. The foam core is also soft. This does not offer much support. It's meant more for sinking into and softening a hard mattress. The mattress is truly twin bed sized, and it's a bit heavy and awkward to move, even when stowed in its bag. The bag was the most disappointing part. It doesn't unzip fully, so it's a bit much for a single person to get the mattress in it, but I managed to do it. I wish it would unzip all the way so that I could just place the mattress on the opened bag and zip around it. I'm also not sure why the handles are so long. They were useless for toting the mattress down my hallway to store in my closet. In the bag, this mattress takes up fully one quarter of my clothes closet, so be aware that you need a decent amount of storage space for this if you plan on folding it up and stashing it away. This still gets five stars from me despite the bag issue and the bulk because it's just a fantastic and soft topper that I expect to hold up for many years.
