Great fun for the garden
Will post some photos next time we get this out.. Ordered this for the summer for the grandkids to play in the garden. This Saturday was the first sunny day since getting them so got the set out. I had never heard of KUBB before so luckily the rules came with the set so we played King Kubb which was fun and the girls loved being able to throw the sticks around the garden. Then played Jenga or stack and fall as it is called in the description. Who knew my 5 year old granddaughter was an expert at spotting which ones would cause the tower to fall or not. Well she is and she wiped the floor with all of us LOL bt it was great fun so much so that by the time we got the dominoes out it was time for dinner so we didn't get to play that game. I have to say these are great fun games. we had tremendous fun playing the games on Saturday and are looking forward to the next sunny day when the grandkids are visiting so we can play again in the garden. Well worth the money I recommend these games for all ages and family will have a great time playing them on sunny days in the garden....

Supersized Garden Family Fun
Unboxing this product, you get a lovely blue carry case sitting inside the box which holds all the wooden pieces inside. They're packaged quite meticulously in order mind so it's a bit of a pain to neatly get everything back into the bag in the right way after playing with it. The bag itself is practical and waterproof but not with the strongest of handles as they feel a bit temperamental. The wooden pieces themselves are well made and you can smell that wooden quality as a high quality product. They're neatly sanded down and well marked out for the dominos etc. I'm a bit dubious to how waterproof the actual wood is mind as it's not varnished so I'm hoping it's pressure treated at least but hard to judge at this stage. The set itself offers you 4 options, 2 with Kubb which I'd never heard of before but makes for a fun game for older children with a lot of throwing. And then the more conventional dominos and jenga which are traditional family garden staple toys. It certainly all works effectively albeit currently retailing at almost £60, I feel it's on the expensive side for what it is still despite the 4 in 1 nature to it. Nonetheless there's nothing wrong with the product itself apart from hooking you onto the great outdoors and hours of family entertainment!

Great fun!
Really good outdoor game set that families and friends will have hours of fun playing with - all you need is some sunshine! There are 4 games in the set, easy to follow instructions are included, however you are really able to adapt and make up games depending on the ages of the players. The set is made of FSC pine and is a good size, not too big for smaller players from age 3 and upwards. Dominoes is well known, as is Stack and Fall, but the Kubb games may be less familiar - however these are our favourites and a lot of fun. The Kubb games are from Vikings and basically you place the blocks along a base line and try to knock them down by throwing a block at them. We have adapted the rules a bit, but I really recommend these games. Worth bearing in mind that the blocks you use make up the different games so you can't play 4 different games at the same time. The set comes with a carry bag, almost a game in itself is putting the blocks back in the bag! Overall a great way to spend an afternoon or evening and it really is a set for all ages!

I wanted to like this so much more
Out of the delivery box and the set comes neatly packed in a blue, zipped carrying bag. The bag is average in make and quality. It is made from waterproof nylon fabric, but the straps and the zip aren’t the strongest.Into the storage bag and you are presented with the blocks and a set of instructions. There are 48 blocks, plus the rounded stakes and king cub pin. These make up four different games - Dominoes, stack and fall, cub and number cub.My first impression upon opening the bag was that the blocks aren’t as big or as heavy as I first anticipated. I pictured the giant Jenga game that you may have previously played. These pieces are smaller than that coming in at 15cm (L) x 5cm (W) x 4cm (D). The pieces aren’t treated in any way. We’d be using these outdoors, as intended and I suspect that after a summer of use in the British weather, they may well look worse for wear - Dirty, stained and damp. These would have looked much better with some sort of stain as a finish. I also don’t like the printing. The black ink is very surface level. It is literally printed on the top.Maybe we misunderstood the description, but we also thought that this could be used at a party and each game could be played independently of the other, at the same. This isn’t the case. It has been made so that pieces double up in other games. For example, you have to use the domino pieces in order to play stack and fall. This isn’t necessarily a deal breaker, but it does mean that we can’t use it the way we intended - As a set of games at a child’s.Overall, this doesn’t really feel or look like a particularly high quality item. It’s a shame, as I really wanted to like this more. I just felt a little disappointed upon receiving it.

A versatile set of garden games
We've wanted a giant jenga set for a while now, and this sounded like a great idea; 4games in one, using the same pieces. The blocks come in a zip-up bag for easy transport and storage, and the handles are placed in such a way as to take all the strain off of the zip and prevent splitting. The blocks themselves are rounded on the four long edges, and sanded smooth to allow them to slide nicely against each other during a game. Of course, the weight of the blocks adds a bit more pressure when removing one, and can lead to somewhat quick games. The domino markings are clear and crisp on some of the pieces, as are the number markings on the end for KUBB. We've got a greenhouse, so we're trying to discourage throwing blocks of wood in the garden, at least for the time being...Overall, very happy with the set. It's not too heavy either, so it's pretty easy to store indoors in a tight package.
