(2024 New) Seauto Seal Cordless Robotic Pool Vacuum, Wall-Climbing, Automatic Pool Cleaner, Suitable for Walls and Floors of 1614 Square Feet Pool

2nd Update and unfortunately 1 week after use 1 of 2 robots stopped working. No lights, no power, not charging. Attempted several calls to number listed for support and none were answered. Sent email and none was answered. This is turning out to be an expensive experiment and a hassle to return - just waiting for the second robot to stop. In addition, Amazon is taking forever to issue a refund - I now had to contact them 4 times and still have not refunded. My advice is stay away from this item altogether at this point.==============================================================================I am updating this review and actually purchased a second one while the price was discounted -Pros:-no assembly required - take off wraps, charge it, download app, and stick it in your pool-the app actually works very well and you'll get a much, much longer battery life when you do BOTTOM/FLOOR only - STANDARD work mode shortens life by about 40-50% by my estimates after using it for a week-it will take a few uses, but eventually it learns the dimensions and topography of your pool and it's amazing how it navigates it-handles stairs very well and doesn't get stuck ANYWHERE, or blow out water all over my deck unlike my previous POLARIS-the basket has a fine mesh and will trap a surprising amount of small particulates which is excellent-all the soft rubber components make me comfortable that it will not damage my liner if it brushes too hard as it sometimes does on some of the walls-will save you lots of energy/electricity during summer if you previously used a booster pump - mine finally burned out and when I did a price comparison to replace I decided this was the better deal both on the initial cost and electricity consumption even when I bought the second oneCons:- Hard to say how long this will last-Can't seem to find any replacement parts on Amazon therefore I bought a second one-The charging unit, although sturdy, is not WEATHER PROOF - that is bad engineering on a pool cleaner that's meant to stay outside - don't leave it uncovered in the rain or under sprinklers because you will have the unpleasant surprise that it will short - replacement parts (as I mentioned) don't appear to be readily available-Manufacturer/vendor not easy to communicate with and this particular unit comes under a few different names and branding

So far, only in our first week, I absolutely love this robot pool vacuum! It has worked perfectly everytime. I really like that it comes to the surface & scrubs the water line where algae forms in my pool. I'm praying this continues to work well because I dread the thought of returning to my hose vacuum which caused me so many problems!!! Please robot gods, keep this Crab working 💪 👍!!!! Note: it's not too heavy to remove from the pool & carry to the covered patio where I can charge it. The filter basket is relatively easy to wash out with a hose & cleans up looking brand new! I absolutely adore my Crab so far!! It's on a super good deal now, only a few days after I bought it! I wish I could get the difference refunded, but that has nothing to do with it's functionality.Update 7/1/24 - Still going strong! I am absolutely in love with this robot! My friend & I honored him with the name Sebastian (from The Little Mermaid) this weekend, as he is ever so helpful to me & my pool! A special note, over the weekend a family of Sonoran Toads decided to lay eggs in my pool! I was so distraught as to how to get the toads & thousands of eggs out quickly! The Fire Department came out to get the toads & were so helpful in figuring what to do. I didn't want to contaminate my new Sebastian but they convinced me that the best & fastest way to remove them would be to allow Sebastian to vacuum them up. The Fire Fighter put pieces of chlorine in the Crab filter basket to instantly kill the eggs as they were suctioned up. This worked like a charm & within an hour my pool was toad & egg-free!! It took a bit of doing to get the filter basket cleaned out, but now it's as pristine as when I took it out of the box! I am SO ECSTATIC with my Sebastian, I could marry him! LOL!!!

I had only good things to say about this robotic pool vacuum initially. It vacuumed the pool… fantastic. However, after a few months it wouldn’t stay in the pool. It climbs out of the pool and keeps going. I now have to keep an eye on it and put it back in every 10 minute. I contacted customer support twice, thinking it would be fixable, but it’s been over a month and I haven’t heard anything back. Zero. This is a very expensive product for a 4 month lifespan

We Loved this robot until the plug area rusted out after only 4 months and could not be recharged with a broken plug. Amazon would not credit or replace it. Never heard back from the company. My husband removed the rust and replaced the displaced pin, uses a lubricant made for water to put on the pins in the plug before putting the robot in the pool. It's working nicely again. Will write a review when we see how long it lasts. We highly recommend purchasing the extended Warranty. We did not.
