This was fun to assemble. There are many aquatic themed pieces that enhance the experience. I've done other wood puzzles in which the colors were more like a kaleidoscope, making it difficult to assemble. This one was not like that at all - the colors were consistent and helpful. I recommend it!

Great color, textures, pieces aren't too thick or thin with very smooth edges. My first wooden puzzle so I have nothing to compare this to, but I like it. There's a slight smell of fresh wood (it's made of bass wood) but I don't find that unpleasant. Some of the pieces are shaped like ocean creatures so that's fun. I haven't finished it but the pieces fit together well.

My mother and daughter spent some quality time together doing this puzzle, perfect for grandparents and kids to do together. It is a small puzzle and fairly easy being only 100 pieces. The wood makes it extra special, and I love that a small easel is included so it actually becomes a piece of art. Every time you see it brings back memories. Also, because it is out on display, it is easy to pull apart and spend 30 minutes putting it together again. I love the addition of some fun, unique "themed" shapes puzzle pieces which is a beautiful addition to this puzzle. Makes a wonderful gift.
