These are very pretty but a bit overpriced.

The Chisheen crane statues are gorgeous and impressive. They stand tall at about 37 inches and strike a stunning pose. Made entirely of metal, they come with foot stakes to keep them secure. The detailing on the feathers and the splash of red add a pop of color to their black and white appearance. I couldn't be happier with my cranes; they make a wonderful addition to my bird garden.

These beautiful birds ae such a welcome addition to our back garden. They were much taller than I had pictured. There is some assembly, but they were easy to put together. They come with iron hinge-like anchors to keep them from flying away in high winds or falling over. However, I used a large paving stone as you can see to hold them down. We have many birds in our garden, as well as squirrels and there rabbits. These large birds guard the bird bath from the large predators that might stalk my little neighbors. I can't say how they'll hold up in the face of a tornado, or extremely large hail. But I do update my reviews, so we'll deal with that if it comes. These birds are heavy, and well made so I'm thinking they will do okay. It was a rainy day when I installed them, but they will be beautiful in the sunshine. You would pay a lot more for these at the big box store.

These cranes are lovely! They seem to be constructed well and thoroughly painted (hopefully they wont rust!)!The legs were a bit of a tight squeeze to get them on, but not too much trouble. The wings that are "flapping" seem to just go straight up on mine, not out at all. Some of the feathers had bent a little in shipping and the paint cracked a little at the bend - hopefully that doesn't allow rust! They look great and my hope is that they stay that way for many years to come!

I was surprised by the size of these cranes upon receiving them. I have another pair of cranes I got off Amazon and these two dwarf them. I especially liked the look of these due to the wing spread. Not that they would pass for live birds, but the idea of motion does add some sense of realism. They require a bit of assembly and the first one went together fine. The wire “legs” slipped right on and the wings were easy to install once you learned they attached at an angle. The paint job was also fine. Basically it looked just like the photos on this page.The second crane was a different story. There’s a rusty tinge to the feathers while the first was nearly pure white. Underneath them, you can see where rust colored paint or stain ran. There’s stray lines and spots of black paint all over. The legs were slightly twisted and I had to fight to get them attached. Unlike the first one where the legs looked almost glossy, the legs on this one were rough metal and unpainted. They’ve already started rusting. There’s also a small chunk missing out of one of the feathers on the back of this crane. The difference in quality between the two is obvious and disappointing considering the steep price tag.

CONS: Assembly.PROS: Color. Durability.Additional Thoughts: These cranes were easy to assemble except for one birds legs. I needed help spreading the legs to get them to fit properly. Once put together, these birds stood easily and they came with yard stakes to hold the birds in place. They are made of what appears to be many stamped metal pieces then attached together to make the shapes. They are light weight but very durable, however, I would not want them to fall over as their wings, necks, heads may get damaged. The color is beautiful and I like the different poses.LovingTheRetiredLife

These are everything I expected. They are large and their colors are so vibrant. I had no trouble putting them together and "installing" them in my garden. I live in an area that gets windy and I have had no issues with their sturdiness or stability. These are so great and I absolutely recommend them.
