HEALTHWOOD Portable ECG/EKG Monitor Heart Rate Monitor with Bluetooth for iOS and Android

let me start by mentioning that I’m a gynecologist doctor so I do have an ECG machine and I’m familiar with how it works and I usually use it, so I was keen to test this unit and and see how accurate it is to my clinic big 30LBS machine plus cables, because something that small is a must have if you’re a doctor, it becomes very handy specially if it’s accurate, so I had a patient with atrial fibrillation and I wanted to test the results of this ecg to my clinic’s ecg and the results was so close, I was actually surprised, I thought this was a gimmick but man this is real and the results are real, I was speechless and surprised at the same time, the only thing I disliked is the software interface is pretty buggy to use at first, but other than that amazing product

Bought this device for my grandma so she can use it during the trip. It is easy to use, we can measure from her arm or leg. It reads fast and result are pretty accurate. Its smaller than i expect and easily fit into any pocket.

This EKG device is a good way to monitor your heart rhythm and rate. It simply shows you waveform and tells you if it's normal or not. I had my EKG done a week ago and I can read them.This device showed pretty accurate waveform and rate although waveform disappears as soon as it turns green( less than 10 sec) and gives you reading. You have to play around a bit to find the perfect spot, mine work on wrists. I wish it has option to run waveform for longer than 10 second to catch abnormalities. Let's say if I feel a flutter or have A-fib history, I have to analyze the waveform as I have experience in reading them. The waveform turns green as soon as P waves, QRS complex and T's shows up on screen. You have to transfer to a computer to read them or take it your doctor but it's not 12 leads so reading is not that clean. Overall pretty good device to check for abnormal rhythm or keep track of abnormal rhythms.

In fact, I bought it for my father-in-law. His heart is not good. He needs to pay attention to his heart rate regularly, so this is the best tool for him to test his heart rate.

I have had two of these devices and they both failed in the same way. After having an event I wanted to print out I plugged the device in and tried to down load the data. When the program didn't find the device i decided to reboot the device and held down the on off button and the device failed and now doesn't work at all. This total failure of the device has happened twice when I needed them the most. Now I own two 80 dollar pieces of worthless junk that are totally broken. DO NOT BUY THIS DEVICE OR ANY THAT LOOKS LIKE IT.

After looking at pictures I found a way to use the monitor (the writing is VERY small). I have not found a way to change the date. I downloaded the monitor app and found files from someone else(errors connecting from 2013) I did not want to download mine, although I probably should have to get it off device! I am returning hoping IF I reorder I actually get a NEW UNUSED monitor (what I originally ordered)
