The media could not be loaded.  Unique Kids 87 piece ferris wheel set is very engaging. I have been teaching Pre-K for over 10 years. As soon as I sat down with this set, it drew a large crowd of kids. Our 16 students really love solving challenge games and trying to find solutions to problems. They can't get enough of the SmartGames collection and I knew this would also be a huge hit. They dug right in, assembling the ferris wheel and trying different configurations on it. I showed them a real ferris wheel on my phone and they set to work making something that the figures (and lights) could ride in. After their first failed design, I said to the little figure; "I hope you enjoyed your ride, please come again." They erupted in laughter. That took the pressure off of always expecting success from designs and reiterated that it is OK to test out ideas and try again. This set has so much STEM learning involved. I didn't even have to teach scientific method to these smart minds. They asked each other questions, took turns, worked together, hypothesized, experimented, collected data, tested and researched from the box and directions, modified and communicated. I heard "let's try...." often and at the end one child said; "That was so, so, so fun! Can we play again tomorrow?" My 32 students put this toy through the paces today. This set is excellent for STEM learning and is developmentally appropriate for 4-5 year old students who love science and engineering. This very engaging, open-ended manipulative is an excellent addition to any teacher's arsenal of learning resources. Note that this set is NOT compatible with your collection of standard sized magnetic tiles. The pieces are durable and kids can assemble and put it away independently. I suggest keeping this set away from your other tiles in a separate area and not mixing the two. Two thumbs up from this mother and Pre-K teacher. A+

Ferris wheel magnetic blocks that was so much fun to put together with my son. Make sure you use the clear clips in order to hold it together due to the weight of all the blocks on the spinning wheel. There are a bunch of different options of how you can build it and it comes with all these little light up pieces that make it super fun and exciting.
