Not Matte Black - Nice Gunmetal
These rather lightweight utensils are 18/0 stainless steel with a titanium plating that helps increase hardness and makes the flatware more resistant to fingerprints and rust.It has a pretty nice feel in hand.The matte "black" color is between a black and gunmetal grey to me - which I still rather dig. I have black wood utensil organizers in my drawer, and I feel like the more grey color works better with them vs. black on black.There are 4 salad forks, 4 dinner forks, 4 dinner spoons, 4 teaspoons, 4 dinner knives, as well as 4 steak knives.Important to note: The box says "dishwasher safe" but the Amazon product description recommends to wash by hand.You do not want to use steel wool or sharp objects to clean this flatware, as you risk scratching the surface.This is 18/0 stainless steel, which has no nickel in it and is an inferior quality to 18/10 or 18/8 stainless steel. Even being 18/0 ss, 24 pieces for around $16 is still a great deal!I don't expect it to last a lifetime, but it's great for everyday use and making my kitchen look more sleek and pulled together when I set the table with these bad boys!If you're not looking for fancy flatware of the upmost quality to host dinner parties for the queen, this affordable set should be sufficient.

Surprising quality for the price
The media could not be loaded. I’m always leery to buy this kind of stuff online because I can’t feel it, but for this price, these are great. They are sturdy and have a nice finish. I am very pleased with my little leap of faith!

The media could not be loaded. Love the look, but I was disappointed to find out after the fact that they CAN NOT BE put in dishwasher. Hand wash only
