The item we received was Resveratrol 1450 and I don't think it's the same product as advertised? Regardless, I take this mainly for healthy aging as this, as studies have been shown that it improves telomeres and therefore longevity.As a bonus, this brand also has added antioxidants and cardio support ingredients. It is reassuring that the capsule is from a naturally derived source. Beside the trans resveratrol complex, the antioxidant and polyphenol complex consists of green tea, grape seed acai fruit, wine, pomegranate fruit , noni fruit, alfalfa leaf, blueberry, hawthorn berry extracts and more, and of course with added vitamin C to replace any preservatives.It is a tasteless but large capsule helps as an added supplement to my base multivitamin. I would swallow one capsule at a time everyday. The supplement does not say where it is manufactured but only indicates it is made for this brand in CA. The pricing is very good considering you're getting 605 mg of Trans resveratrol,, 725 mg of the polyphenol complex plus 120 mg of Vit C. I would continue to use this brand.

What's cool is the honesty of the labeling and packaging: the front label merely states: "Extra Strength Resveratrol 350mg". They only list the GOOD stuff, as if the other 50% of the knotweed extract were just part of the vegan cellulose capsule!Other vendors I've seen out here would've split each of these 60 doses into 2 smaller capsules and called the product something like "Super Resveratrol 700+" and written "120 Capsules" in big letters while relegating a "Serving size = 2 capsules" to the fine print.Also, the product seems to be high quality - I've purchased other supplements from NOW and accept their stated attention to quality control, etc.

So, research about resveratrol is kind of debated; but if you're interested in giving it a shot for the potential benefits, this supplement has fantastic value. As of this review, it's $18.99 for a two-month supply, which is very reasonable.The star of the supplement is of course the resveratrol, but you're also getting an assortment of other intriguing ingredients. It has 6mg of Astaxanthin, which I really like because standalone Astaxanthin supplements are often pricier and it's a very interesting ingredient, as an example. And on a purely anecdotal basis, I personally really like supplementing citrus bergamot simply because I tend to feel better when I am taking it consistently.As for the polyphenol complex, we don't know how much of each ingredient is included, but there are certainly some interesting ingredients worked into the mix.Overall, this is not a bad supplement at all if you're interested in resveratrol, astaxanthin, or citrus bergamot; due to the proprietary nature of the polyphenol complex, I would just consider those a bonus rather than assuming you're getting a significant amount of any single ingredient there.

Apart from the trans-resveratrol from Japanese knotweed, it also includes vitamin C, astaxantin, citrus bergamot, and a polyphenol complex blend, details of which are provided on the label. I happen to like all of the ingredients in this particular supplement. I did reseach on all of them, and have taken them separately in tbe past, so I feel good about taking this supplement. Trans-resveratrol is suppose to be a more bio-available form of resveratrol, so I was glad to see that in this supplememt. I've experienced no notable ill effects taking this -no upset stomach, etc.I can't speak to the efficacy --it takes months to see full benefits, and with this particular supplement, some of the benefits may not be as obvious. Looking for the cellular health and healthy aging benefits. Every little bit helps when you are getting older. First time user of Trans Resveratrol so am hoping to notice some good. It's always hard to figure out when the healthy benefits are realized as it likely takes some time before you really notice. That said, it's a fair price for a 60 day supply so I will give it a run for the money. I no longer consume alcohol so I need to get my resveratrol from supplements as no red wine for me. :)
