The lock was easy to install and the app that goes along with it is easy to use. The lock allows many different profiles to be set up with a code as well as a thumbprint for entry. The thumbprint is so convenient to use for entry. We will be purchasing another one for our back door.

I had originally thought this lock was a bad idea, how ever after speaking with customers service and receiving a gateway, I couldn't ask for a better lock. I tested the lock even from another state it works great.

Update: tech support is amazing, sent 2 more items (free) to make the lock work remotely (voice command over wifi) unfortunately the product is just not pairing and requires a lot more than just the gateway to make it work. I consider my self tech savvy and handyman but I struggled to make it work. I am not about to split my 2.4 ghz and 5ghz and compromise other gadgets in my house. Even if I temporarily tried it as suggested, the gateway still failed to be added to the app. I gave up already and will just settle for the features available without the gateway. The manual on the gateway is also horrible.The gateway should just be part of the package. This lock model also requires a different version of the gateway which is not readily available on amazon and you will have to go through tech support.The lock itself was easy to install, printed manual is very clear on instructions. All functions works well and very convenient, no more panicking for lost or keys not brought. Very stylish and finish is good.Keypad can be tricky, not very intuitive at first but once you figure it out its good. It is also illuminated for ease of use in low light conditions. You’ll need to wale the keypad first before you can start typing the code. The double digits on each keypad is also confusing for someone not familiar with it. This is important for giving someone a temporary access code.This can be controlled by Bluetooth without the gateway in limited range. Remote/ voice control can be achieved if gateway is used.Technical support is phenomenal, very eager to follow up for any questions and assistance.
