This was purchased as Christmas gifts for the men in my family. It's my hope the tablets will help the recipients to relax.

Its just fragrance that burn your eyes and no oils. Even the ingredients dont mention oils just fragrance.

These shower steamers do have a strong fragrance that fills up a small room. I have used these when I am showering and even used it to deodorize my kitchen sink and bath tub drain. The thing with a variety set like these is some of the scents will smell a bit more chemical/artificial and I don't know the quality of the essential oils used. I didn't see colorants listed but I also find the coloring to be unnecessary. However, these are not really for use soaking in the tub and getting all over your skin so I don't mind it as much. They are supposed to release scent in the shower when your hot water is "steaming" it and trickling by, releasing scent as it fizzes. The colors do just drain down past your feet so that's not so bad. If you keep it away from the direct stream of your water flow it should last a bit longer, if not through your entire shower session. I recommend finishing it in one shower session and clean up any residue right away (if it hasn't fully disintegrated) to avoid staining. I can't say for sure these will stain but I have left shower steamers on my bathroom floor and it did leave a bit of a coloring and took a bit of scrubbing to get off. These aren't the highest quality but they're decent and does provide some aromatherapy as you relax in the shower, washing away the stressful day. Mine arrived in excellent condition, none of them were broken.

They smell very nice. The skin smells aromatic after the bath.
