The media could not be loaded. The design engineers at AFE have created a great product here. The fit and finish are perfect, every piece fits exactly where and how it should. The look once installed while clearly not OEM looks like it should have been there the whole time. The sound while not the reason for buying this is incredible. The 3.6 sounds meaner and more powerful. I really enjoy the sound unfortunately that sound may be the reason I don’t get the mpg gains, oh well.

DO NOT BUY THIS INTAKE IF YOU WANT BETTER MPG. You will find yourself stepping on it just to hear the intake howl. AFE build on this intake is great. 20 min.install. Just be careful not to break your air temp sensor. I love the sound. Throttle response woke up. I found it the cheapest on amazon. Well worth the money. It's the only mod you need on your Jeep. Im running this intake on a 2013 Jeep jk Wrangler. My friend has the same Jeep & he drove mine. Now he is going to order the same intake. Don't forget to disconnect battery to reset ECU to learn the new intake.

If only for the sound is this thing worth it, but there is most certainly a noticeable gain in power, and this gain starts early on with a nice, very much improved throttle response. According to one man's dyno test online there is close to the advertised gain in power, especially in the power band and you can feel it. I wish it were the same for exhaust but everything I have read suggests no aftermarket exhausts show any appreciable gain (but they do add great sound, and don't inhibit performance).Minus one star because while install is easy enough the housing had a hole that did not line up on my Jeep (2012). I had to remove a little bit of plastic on the Jeep to make this line up so a bolt could go through. Not a big deal, and pretty easy to fix, but just be aware.All in all, definitely worth the money: great sound and performance gain for under $300, I love it.

If you own a 2014 Wrangler, this will not fit. The description clearly states that it fits up to 2013 models and one would reasonably think it should fit the 2014's as well since they are the same engine and body, but apparently Jeep (Chrysler) has changed something about the intake system on the 2014 models. I have spoken with the manufacturer and they are working to redesign the tube to correct the fitment issues. As much as I want a cold air intake and spacer, I will wait until aFe comes out with the redesigned version as I believe their products are superior after having tried others major contenders on previous vehicles.

I've trusted aFe performance gear for a long time, from BMW's all the way to Jeeps, and this product is no different.The install required a slight modification to the new box to thread into the factory mount correctly; I had to hollow out a hole to give the M6 bolt a little more play to thread correctly. This bolt is a *pain* to tighten, so be ready for a few swear words and have a ratchet ready that gets into tight spaces.The increased sound and performance are noticeable. It really opens up the Jeep's redesigned Pentastar V6 3.6L.

Install was not quite as easy, even with experienced help. Mostly because the temperature sensor doesn't fit all that securely into the rubber gromet and hole in the AFE. Once installed, though, wow! It packs some new punch and roar into the acceleration and I picked up 2+ mpg on the highway. I put a lot of research into CAI before I purchased this, and it looks like it was worth the effort and time spent finding the right one.

Instant sound and performance improvement. Of the zillion dollars of accessories added to my 2013 Rubicon this is the best. Added the aFE High Tuck forward muffler exhaust system a week later. Made a 250 rode trip the next day and got 21.2 MPG and that's with 35's and stock 373 gears!

Sounds like a whole new beast! Added power! Easy installation
