I love how well these magent blocks tap into my kids creativity.

Everyone apparently knows about Magna-Tiles except for me. I picked up this product for a family member who has moderate level autism, and therapists commented they were already familiar with it. With autism, it's often trial-and-error when it comes to almost everything, and this product seemed like a good candidate to try out. While I love the idea of this product, it takes fine motor skills to align tiles correctly. Magnet placements on each tile are also a bit constrictive, requiring reasoning skills. For example, the triangle shapes don't permit tiles to be perpendicularly placed across the middle of them because magnets only line the edges of each tile. This product is good quality, but an expensive experiment for most people at a current price of $1.50 per tile.

THe Magna Tiles Set arrived quickly, well packaged, and undamaged. The set includes 20 pieces. I feel like it is not enough but the kids had fun playing with these. I would suggest purchasing a bigger set if you have more than one child. They can build better things with more pieces. Otherwise, the functionality and the construction of the pieces are very good.

Our daughter loves Magna Tiles - they provide her an opportunity to get creative in putting together different objects - whatever her imagination can conjure up. Sometimes she make flat objects that sprawl out on the floor and other times its tall 3 dimensional structures that her dolls can play in. I'm sure we'll buy more Magna Tiles. 10/10 can recommend.

My kids (2 and 4 year olds) absolutely love playing with these magnetic tiles. They spend a good amount of time building towers and all sorts of creative things. This is a small set, so it's an add-on to another one we already have. Good quality. It comes in a small brown box, so not sure that it's very giftable.

I have had the opportunity to order several brands of magnet tiles and Magna and one other major brand are the only ones I will reorder. The off brands are pretty hit or miss so stick with a brand like Magna.20 pieces is an add on kit. Don't plan on buying this unless you already have some tiles or you will be disappointed. These are the same quality as all the other Magna tiles I have purchased.Color: this set is different in that it is FLORAL in color. I have a set in NEON. Comparing the colors there are a lot of similarities. They both have 8 pink square tiles, very similar in color but the neon is a bit brighter. They both have green triangle and again the neon is just a bit brighter. If I were to choose just one color I'd probably order the neon as they are just brighter and more colorful.Price: I always figure that smaller sets, that are good quality, usually are priced around $1. per tile. These are currently priced at about $30 for 20 tiles. I almost took off a star because of the price.
