Awesome bitters!
Went to a restaurant before a play in my city, and ordered a soda water with bitters. You know what standard bar bitters are, right? They’re good, but oh-my-gosh the flavor of what was served. I had to ask the bartender what are these bitters? And Fee Brothers was all they stocked. Great in cola drinks, too. I don’t drink beer or cocktails, so a soda and bitters is my usual order when we go out, and now I can have this delicious spend at home, too.

The Best Bitters
I've tried many different bitters, and this one is the best, because of the whiskey barrel aged process. Goes well with bourbon and 7-Up. The packaging was excellent as I have ordered from another supplier and it arrived broken with all of the liquid spilled out.

Pricey but tasty.
A distinct note of cinnamon. Pricey enough that I reserve them for old-fashioned.

Bitters aren't all the same.
As evidenced by the seemingly endless variety I've seen in specialty liquor stores and online. After sampling the best Manhattan cocktail I've ever had (thank you David at Marchese in Chicago), I asked for the recipe. These were the bitters used, and after experimenting extensively with different formulations, Fee Brother's is the brand I consistently come back to. It's all a matter of taste, no doubt, but the barrel aging and spicy notes of these bitters makes them a suitable complement to Masterson or Angel Envy rye (along with Cocci vermouth and Luxardo cherries)Give Fee Brother's brand a try. Everyone I've made Manhattans for has raved about them.

Best Aromatic Bitters made, bar none.
A friend turned me on the Fee Brothers Whiskey Barrel Bitters, which he had discovered in his own "Manhattan Project." I was impressed and ordered a bottle myself. The Bitters are excellent , with a lovely aroma and layered taste taste with a smokey finish. They are excellent in Manhattans, and Old Fashioneds. These Bitters really come into their own in a Charleston Cocktail (2 oz each of Bourbon and Madeira with 2-4 dashes of Bitters) or a Rob Roy (2 oz blended Scotch and 3/4 oz Sweet Vermouth with 2-3 dashes of Bitters). Both should be stirred with ice and strained into a chilled cocktail glass. Enjoy!

Delicious but overpriced.
This is a tough review to write because I have very contradictory feelings about this.First, although I'm merely a home cocktail enthusiast (not a professional bar tender) I have a respectable assortment of spirits and associated accoutrements and, without a doubt, these bitters are absolutely a must-have. As critical as Angostura and Orange bitters are to any respectable base collection - these should be considered essential as well. They are delicious and delightfully aromatic. They have a strong cinnamon nose with an Angostura backbone that just begs to bring your Whisky cocktails up to a new level. To be clear these are wonderful for taste and aroma and can work in a variety of cocktails to make them very special. These have a special place on my shelf next to other beloved bottles of small batch, boutique, and artisan bitters. However, as mentioned, my mixed feeling is that they are overpriced. I won't go on about it, although I could. It pains me to draw a line between value, quality and cost but in this case I give:5 Stars for aroma and flavor and size of bottle.2 Stars for being priced way out of scope.Let's just call it a final 3 star but with important qualifiers.

NICE ADDITION TO A MANHATTAN
Bought these as my bartender at my local golf club makes a nice old fashioned with the Whiskey Barrel Aged Bitters. The name is a bit misleading as the overwhelming flavors are cinnamon and clove. But... it is a very nice addition to your cocktail assuming you like those flavors, which I do. But if you are not a cinnmaon fan for whatever reason, I'd stay away. But I used a few drops in my Rye Manhattan tonight and enjoyed it thoroughly!! Update…. way way overpriced now. Up almost 40% from not all that long ago!

Favourite Manhattan Cocktail
Use this to make a wonderful "Manhattan". Also use Maraschino cherries from Luxardo suppliers. Four Roses Yellow Label Straight Bourbon Whiskey andAntica Formula Red Vermouth. Sublime :D

Brilliant but pricy.
Only reason it doesn't get more is due to the exorbitant cost.

Cinnamon.
Cinnamon. Tastes of cinnamon. I can't taste anything else. It's a good strong cinnamon. If they had called this Fee Brothers Cinnamon Bitters I would be very happy. But they didn't.
