Great 5D Padded Gel Shorts
I liked that the gel padding was very firm, not soft or hard. I wore the shorts for morning training rides of 15-20 miles, and 50-60 mile weekend bike rides. No discomfort of any sorts. Would recommend buying also the underwear shorts.

Bike shorts
Comfort fit overall, padding holds up after washing. On longer rides over 20 miles begin to slip down. Going to try a smaller size on my next purchase.

Good fit!
Nice shorts - they come down on my thighs and don't ride up while cycling, conveniently placed pockets, wash well, and come up over my butt. Good buy!

Excellent performance on a budget
I have some Izumi Pearl shorts that I usually ride with, so I will be comparing these shorts to those. The X-Tiger shorts chamois does not extend as far forward as the Izumi Pearl shorts. I don't get chafing with either shorts, but definitely something I noted. The chamois also feels more like foam instead of like a bouncy gel. Because of this, the chamois feels more low-profile but it also does not offer as much cushioning. The bottom of the shorts both have rubberized texturing to prevent the shorts from riding up your thigh. The texture on the X-Tiger is more aggressive feeling, but I never had issues of my other shorts riding up my thigh. The overall material on the X-Tiger feels less breathable. I definitely feel more heat trapped in. Because the material feels thicker, it has less air flow and also is not as stretchy. Maybe it's more durable, but it definitely has some downsides. There is a small zippered pocket on the back of the X-Tiger shorts. It is not super practical, since it can only fit things around the size of your palm. These shorts offer a lot of functionality at the price it is offered. I definitely prefer my Izumi Pearl shorts over these, but if I had to choose based on price point, it is X-Tiger any day. Not that much is sacrificed going with the X-Tiger, but you spend a lot less money.

These run way too small.
The problem with companies that make padded bike shorts is that they don’t make products for larger people.People of all sizes ride bikes, and it’d be nice if it were a little less difficult to find the same products that are available for the toned and lithe. My boyfriend has exactly one pair of padded bike shorts that fits him. He isn’t especially large, but even a 3x wouldn’t pull up all the way.He weighs 250 and is 5’10”. He goes for rides that are 25 miles and longer without thinking twice about it.But he has a real problem finding a pair of padded bike shorts that fit.

Great quality and comfortable fit at a good price!
These are excellent bike shorts for both indoor and long-distance outdoor rides. The gel padding is strategically placed and not too bulky, making for a comfortable riding experience. These shorts are just as comfortable as some of my more expensive brand-name shorts for half the price, and the quality is matched. The material has just the right amount of stretch and does not cut into my waist or legs during longer rides, and the sizing is spot on; for reference, a medium fits well for 5'10" /150 lbs. The pockets are an added bonus, and I can comfortably fit my ID and billfold. They have held up very well in the wash, and I have not noticed any shrinking. I highly recommend these if you are looking for quality biking shorts at a great price point.
