The absolute king of Garlic Crushers.
The absolute king of Garlic Crushers. As soon as you take this crusher from the box, you know it's a quality item. The heft is first thing, it's made from solid metal ( not sure if it's aluminium or steel )and is quite heavy. It's a simple operation. Open the two handles, drop in your big garlic clove, then close the handles & crush away. The crushed garlic is expelled through little holes in the opposite side. It's finished in a nice reflective chrome ( or is it very polished aluminium ? ) and should look great in your overflowing kitchen gadget drawer. I love it !

decent garlic crusher for a bargain price
i'm very impressed with this garlic crusher as for the price i was expecting something a lot flimsier and poorly made.this one is fairly compact but has a decent amount of leverage for crushing. it's simple to clean and crushes well.my one bugbear is the underside of the top handle would have made it feel so much more premium if the edge had just been slightly rolled as it feels quite stark and while not sharp there is an edge to it that goes counter to the feedback your hand wants when it's applying pressure. but it's a very minor thing and i'm sure most people wouldn't even notice.overall though very happy and would buy again if it got lost somehow.

Heavy and chunky, plus crushed garlic doesn't just fall into a bowl
I love garlic and wanted a new garlic press. This one is very chunky and heavier than expected because of that. It's comfortable to hold and the photos show that it can press more than one garlic clove at a time. The sales page says that you can also use it for ginger, onions and nuts but I haven't tried that yet. It's not for me, unfortunately. I struggled to press multiple cloves and had to remove 1 of the 3 fairly small cloves as it's hard to squeeze the handles enough to crush the garlic through the press. I also had to scrape the garlic off the front of the press and into the bowl as it didn't just fall into it, plus I needed a knife to clear the inside of the press where garlic still remained. Even when I just crushed one clove, the garlic staying attached to the front of the press was still an issue. It would have been quicker just to have chopped them.It was very easy to clean, though, the easiest one I've ever had, just rinsed out with no bits of garlic remaining stuck in the teeth. That's a real plus and why I was looking for a new gadget in the first place3* – I lack the strength to crush garlic properly using this press and was disappointed that the crushed garlic didn't automatically fall into a bowl but had to be removed from the front of the press with a knife. It's a heavy, chunky gadget that's just not right for me, unfortunately. It needs someone bigger and stronger than me but the garlic will still have to be removed manually once it's been pressed through the holes

Simple, functional, ergonomic design that does what it's supposed to do...
There's nothing to dislike about this garlic press. It's easy to hold, has a relatively large capacity and doesn't require a huge amount of force to close the jaws as the length of the handle provides enough leverage to enable you to crush those pesky cloves with little effort. The press appears to be robust and very easy to clean, soap and water does the trick, although the manufacturers state that it is dishwasher safe. The addition of zinc in to the alloy gives the press a great shine that buffs up really well, but also should mean that the press remains corrosion free. I have a couple of garlic presses; one of which was just over twice the price and the other nearly four times the price that this one currently retails at, but this garlic press from a functional point of view is by far the easiest to operate, keep clean and just looks really stylish (would fit into any kitchen décor). Well worth the money for an elegant, functional solution to crushing garlic cloves. NB. you can also use it for other stuff as well: i.e. ginger.

False advertising
This "stainless Steel" garlic press is absolutely not made from stainless steel or any form of steel for that matter, it failed the magnet test so it's definitely not made from any kind of ferrous metal - best guess it's probably made from zinc or something similarit looks nothing like the image in the photo's, it has a cheap looking shiny finish which is probably some kind of plating .The fit and finish of this item is awful it has rough edges everywhere, and I'm not sure how durable it would be long term.Having said that it does look as though it might be able to do the job, but without knowing whether it's even made from food safe materials I won't be trying it to find out.For £9.99 at the time of writing this review this thing offers zero value for money, it's overpriced and the overall quality is terrible, if you're in the market for a garlic press I'd look elsewhere.

Nice size and easy to clean
Not a bad garlic press. It retains more garlic than my current press – which is a cheap Ikea press. I think the reason, which my photos might show, is that the holes in the press are spaced far apart. It is not a big problem, and it easier to clean than my current press, as it is more open. I normally have to use a knife to scrape the remaining garlic out. All things considered. I like it.

Great quality
Very good quality product, it’s durable well designed and seems rust resistant. It’s quite big so can fit a lot of garlic in at once making cooking quicker and easier. The handle is smooth and easy to hold. Little more expensive than other garlic crushers I’ve seen but think it’s worth it

Solid and sturdy garlic crusher
This garlic crusher is pleasingly weighty, giving excellent purchase when using. It is easy to clean, and clicks together when not in use. The metal used is thick as are the nodules used for crushing.A step up from your regular garlic crusher, this is a well made and good quality example, works well and recommended!
