This product is fantastic! No more dead skinks, snakes, giant spiders, or little critters in the skimmers. Who wants to swim after pulling out smelly dead critters? Not me. Since installing them on the opposite sides of my pool, the skimmers have remained surprisingly clean. Winning!

Item is just as described and looks like it will work well to give critters a fairly easy escape route out of our in ground hot tub.

Okay, but there are better ones available. I actually like that it is smaller than some, however the mesh area around the float should have been longer. If you blow the thing up all the way, the mesh hangs practically straight down and there is a large step up to the plateau float. Not sure if every small animal will be able to get out. We got this for ducklings to get out of the pool, so we had to deflate it about half-way, just so there wouldn’t be that large step and for the mesh to be slightly hanging out in the pool for them to get onto before the float. We will see if it works…

What You Get - 1 ramp, one inflatable to put in the pool part of the ramp. (Not included pump or weights).Pros - We live in Upstate NY and Chipmunks are a HUGE pool issue (so are mice). My husband is always trying to put various things in to give them some help but so far nothing has been successful. Let's hope this does the trick. It looks like it SHOULD work.Cons- if you inflate the pillow as recommended it doesn't leave much mesh for the animals to grab onto so we are only doing half. Not sure if it will work so well for the smaller mice (time will tell).Overall - for the cost $9.99 at the time of posting the review - it definitely looks better than the other options my husband has created.

We got this to help all the little frogs we get and any other critters that might crawl into the pool. We get a lot of beetles in the pool and were hoping it would help them escape, but they can’t latch on. There’s enough current from water movement, so they skim over the netting and swim for their lives again. In this photo, you can see one little beetle trying desperately to get out. He couldn’t do it alone, so I helped him, but soon, he was washed off the netting from the current in the water. We ordered two; the other was similar to this one, and both have the same issues with beetles. But the good news is that we haven’t had any frogs in the pool, and our neighbor always pulls frogs out of his pool (our pool was just finished, so we are new at this). So, it’s sad for the beetles but happy for the frogs :-) This one comes with a pump gadget to pump air into it. Although you can blow air into it just fine, it is not supposed to be filled to the brink. Less is best in this case.

This works well to allow little critters to get out of your pool before they drown. Before I got this I would have something dead in the pool about once a month (frogs, mice, one time a snake), but since I got this I have not seen anymore dead critters.

just moved into a house with a pool. I didn't know this was a 'thing' until I saw them at my neighbor's house, so I had to grab this. Should work great - I've had this for a few weeks now and I haven't witnessed any critter actually using it, but it's there if they need it!

I am saving one frog at a time daily!
