Tristan's Lyceum Wolves (Immortals of New Orleans Book 3)

I loved what Kym did with the vampire world. I was looking forward to see what she did with the wolf world. As usual every detail is well thought out. There are never any nagging loose ends in any of her books.What was brilliant with this story was the play on a "wolf in sheets" clothing. Dr. Kalli Williams is a Veterinarian in Philadelphia whose only wants in life were living a quiet life taking care of animals. Little did everyone know that she was a wolf herself. In order to stay in hiding from an abusive pack, she engineers a drug that not only keeps her from shifting but it keeps her true self hidden making her give off a human scent rather than a wolf scent. See, brilliant!Kalli ruins all her best laid plans when she is caught on camera going into Tristan's club that is in the midst of burning down making her a suspect in the arson as well has landing herself in the middle of a pack war.Tristan is the alpha of the Lyceum wolves and is bound and determined to find out who burnt down his club and who is attacking his wolves. The number one suspect is Kalli. He finds himself falling for the human and not sure why. She turns his world completely upside down. Making him lose focus on the task at hand. It isn't until all is revealed that things get really interesting and intensely hot. Like "I need a cold shower" hot.Kym does a great job of building up the suspense. As a reader I wanted to keep reading to see how this story would unfold. That along with all the action and hot sex scenes made this story one heck of a brilliant ride.

This third installment of Ms. Grosso's "Immortals of New Orleans" series, deviates from the first two Vampires and gives us some direct insight on one of the series' best, funniest and wittiest characters...the Were, Alpha Tristan Livingston...tall, sexy wolf extraordinaire.You get to experience him numerous times in the first two books about vampires Kade and Luca, but this time we get a "wolf's eye" view into the the mind, the life and the pack of the Alpha himself and, I must say, I enjoyed it thoroughly.This series continues to impress me with new and exciting stories. Each character who gets a book embarks on a journey of discovery, understanding, acceptance, love, mating and lots of action and thriller based twists and turns. Just when you think it is smooth sailing, you get that proverbial rug pulled out from you in the form of a betrayal or other shocking revelation.Tristan is kind, caring, powerful, authoritative, faithful, loyal, fair and loving and being able to see all those sides of him in his very own book was a complete treat for me, as I enjoyed the journey of Kade and Luca, and was eager to see this series move forward. Kalli had to learn to accept who and what she was, while finding support in the one place she least likely expected...gaining more than she ever thought possible.This series is best read in the order of the books, as they all commingle and cross reference each other, and it would aid any reader in better understanding what took place before and what is being spoken about. If not, one may find themselves a little lost.I think if you are a true paranormal fantasy/romance lover, this is a series that will intrigue, delight, engage and leave you with endings that have you saying, "Ugh...what? when does this next book come out?" Ms. Grosso ensures that you are left knowing that there is more to come because she ends her books with something shocking that baits you and gets you HOOK, LINE AND SINKER.Another complete winner for me in this series. She had me from the first word in Kade's book, and based on the shocking ending of this book, she'll have me on the continuation in Logan's book.

Wow what a dynamite SeriesImmortals of New Orleans Kym GrossoI have no idea who recommended this series to me but I want to thank you very much. Kym Grosso is now on my spreadsheet and Authors to follow list. That’s how good these reads were.On a recommendation I picked this entire series up back in November. That being said I started reading just recently. My review is going to be a little different since once I started I absolutely could not put them down. So I read the series as on big fat delicious book.From Kade’s book all the way to Book #6 Dimitri’s book. From Page 1 of Book #1 I could not put the reads down. I was NOT going to stop to do reviews on each individual read because I just couldn’t wait to jump into the next one.Such well written books they read like you’re watching on the big screen. There is something for everyone who enjoys reading Paranormal Erotic Romance. Shifters, Witches, Vamps, humans (LOL) and even a naiad. Lots of action, romance, and sometimes a chuckle here or there. Leopold will give you that. Each of the Hot Hero’s are even romantics in their own way. I know this isn’t the conventional drippy gooey packed review that most are accustomed to, but trust me you’ll understand where I’m coming from when you pick up the first book “Kade’s Embrace” and realized you’ve zipped through all 6 in a matter of days. They’re that good. I so can’t wait for Jax’s story and I want to see if Sydney pulls out of her funk.Again, Thank You to whoever recommended these reads to me and to Kym Grosso for keeping me so captivated with all these scrumptious characters. 5* and I wish I could give higher.

This is the third book in the New Orleans series and it is another winner. I listened to it in audio. Loved it and to be able to read as well was a real bonus. The characters in this series are so strong, yet have vulnerabilities that make them real. The loyalty and family in the pack is unique. While there are many many wolves, Tristan is not only leader but father figure, lover, judge and much more. He needs the strength of his second, Logan, who I really loved. So glad he gets his own story. Kalli has gone through so much but has such inner strength, yet is able to show her weak side with Tristan and Logan. Love when she stands up and makes them all listen--the awe and surprise is wonderful. This is a great read and one you should not miss.

Love this series. I will read books on my kindle and give stars after reading. Then about 2/3 months later I will go on line and do small review.

The best book of the series so far . These are all standalone but it’s more enjoyable reading them in order . Unlike the previous books about Kade and Luca, this book felt stronger in terms of character development and the writer had a better grip of the story . Tristan and Kalli both were strong characters and the story did have its twists . Their chemistry and Kalli’s take-no-shit attitude later on as she gains more confidence is a delight to read . Though I did skip pages when it came to intimate scenes as I felt the too much description was not needed . But over all , it’s a good book and I can’t wait to read about Logan!

My only complaint is that it took an absolute ETERNITY for Kalli to spill her secret. More than halfway through the book before she confesses. I like a bit of suspense and it is always a fine balance for the author to get it right, but for me it was just a little too much time spent building up the tension. Some readers may lose patience and give up on the book because of this alone. I shall persevere another 10 per cent but my patience is running low.

Wow this stories just keep getting better & betterI don't know what it is about wolf's but I am drawn to them the most in paranormal & this one didnt dissapoint.With an attack on Logan's club he is informed there is a witness imagine his surprise when he is drawn to his mate

even a month after finishing the book i still remember it. so, it is worth reading it
