How serious are you about tea?
In my house, making tea is a science. I use filtered water. I have a designated kitchen timer for steeping tea. I have an electric kettle that has 6 heat settings for various types of tea. I have written instructions for various types of tea hanging on the fridge. I have a cabinet designated for just tea. Bags and loose leaf. I take tea very seriously. That's what kung fu tea is all about. Making tea with skill. This set is for brewing loose leaf tea for 2. It is very portable and compact. The pot retains heat well, keeping tea warm while you drink what's in your cup. There's no handle on this pot, but there are wood grips to prevent you from burning your fingers. The cup nest nicely inside the pot when not in use. This is a really nice portable tea set. How serious are you about tea? Are you looking for a small, portable tea set to take camping or on a picnic? This set is perfect for that. Are you looking to master tea and have formal tea ceremonies? There's nicer sets than this one for formal use. I like this set for the portability and value for the price. I rate it at 5 stars for overall quality and feel that it's a really good value for the price. How practical, useful and high quality this product is, depends on what your priorities are and how serious you are about making tea. For me and my needs, this is a 5 star product that works well for traveling. I would recommend this product for its quality. It's a nice set for travel but there's definitely nicer sets for formal ceremony.

Case Not As Shown- I Like The Tea Set
I love to have more traditional Asian tea now and then. I can't carry a lot of things due to having to walk with canes while healing from injury, so this set is perfect for days I want to use it for traditional style tea.CASELet's get the case out of the way. The case shown is a black case with red fabric lining. It looks protective. The case I got is clear on one side and opaque on the back. It does not look as protected to me. It still is good, just not quite as nice as what is shown.CUPSI am amazed that this has 3 cups in it. They all fit in the Teapot perfectly using the fabric strip to wrap them and keep them protected. They are plenty big enough for tea the traditional way.TEAPOTI love this little teapot. It is bigger than others I have had but the wooden ring on it helps with pouring so it is not quite as hot on the fingers. Most tea served this way is 175F so it isn't too bad on the fingers whennusing the wooden ring. The lid has a screw visible to hold the wooden handle on the lid. I am not crazy about that, but it isn't too bad.USING THE SETI like this for making green tea. I put our special green tea leaves in this pot and quickly pour off. Then I pour after 40 seconds or so. After that, we rebrew and wait a bit longer. We usually do 3 brews of the leaves before we are done. This teapot and cups serves two of us more than enough or three of us just right.CLOTHThe cloth strip in this set is pretty cheap looking. I am considering serging or hemming my own cloth to substitute that is a bit nicer. This cloth is very thin and cheap looking.THE BOTTOM LINEI am not as fond of the case and fabric strip, but I like the tea set a lot.MY RATINGFOUR STARS. This set is fun and compact. It is great for travel and I can carry it in my pouch while I have to walk with canes until I heal. I like it and recommend if you want to have portable traditional tea to take with you at any time or at home. So far it has been nice. I will update if there is anything to add.

Great small travel tea set
Two small cups, one tea pot that holds enough water to fill each cup once, and a protective travel case.Strainer is built into the lid.Very high quality. The cups are small, so after pouring one serving of tea you may want to get a second serving started.

Great Travel or Office Set
The media could not be loaded. I drink tea instead of coffee, and it's always hard to find good travel tea stuff when you're trying to pack light. This set folds into a cute carrying case, while still being big enough to hold a decent amount of tea. I can add hot water from a coffee pot, or kettle and have it without trying to use hotel supplies or rely on whomever I'm staying with. This will also be great to keep at your desk in the office if you have access to a hot water kettle or Keurig. While the cups themselves are rather small, it's a Chinese style tea set so I expected that. I don't foresee an issue using the pot itself for a more western style teabag either. The tea set looks like cast iron, but is actually a coated clay set, still with great heat distribution. Might have to order a set for my husband!

Cute Set
Cute two cup set and serving pot. I like that it has a little carrier for portability. Built well for a portable set.

Cute but impractical
This tea set came giftable and well packed.Clean, not thick (in a good way), no odor, no chips or damages. The teapot can make 4-5 oz of tea. The holes might be too big for certain tea leaves.I didn't like the exposed screw inside the lid. It's just that the cups are way too small for practical use.
