A life saver
My wife broke her ankle and needed surgery to put plates in so we purchased this unit and it made showering a breeze no problem with the sturdiness and the backrest is a blessing

Shower Chair for Inside Shower, Anti-Slip Shower Seat with Arms and Back, Bath Chair with Portable Lift Height Adjustable Legs, Bathtub Stool for Elderly DisabledThe shower seat comes in an economically packaged plain brown paper cardboard box. All of the individual pieces of the chair come packaged in their own plastic sleeve, so there is a lot of unpacking to do. Once I got all of the pieces released from the confines of their plastic sleeves, I found that there was a single page instruction tucked down one side of the box as well as a hanging mesh bag. There is a baggie full of plastic pieces and thumb screws, so be careful not to toss that out with all the plastic. (There is also a plastic piece that looks like it's designed to snap onto the half round of the tubing, but the instructions don't address it so I have no idea what it's for )Looking at the instruction sheet, it doesn't appear very complicated, but there are a lot of pieces. For the first step, you need to screw the upper leg portion to the bottom of the plastic seat. What the instructions call a gasket is a metal washer that is bent to fit the curvature of the metal. (Pay particular attention to how the legs mount to the seat. If you're 90° out like I was, you'll have to take it all back again and put it together the correct way.) Have the legs on, then you line up the two pieces that hold up the back and screw those together. Once you have that in place, you use four shorter screws to hold the back piece to the upright bar, then snap in the side rails and snap the feet on. I like that all of the pads on the feet are angled, so that they will fit flat on the floor of the shower to provide the maximum grip. Also, they have thoughtfully engraved in numbers, so once you figure out what height you like, you can set all four legs the same length/height.Once the chair was assembled, for a test, we set it on the floor and sat in it. The chair felt quite sturdy and even though it did move a little bit if we wiggled in it, it did not show any sign of undo movement. I like that the legs are adjustable and that they have rubber gripping sleeves on the side. Armrest handles. All in all, this is a fairly sturdy, safe looking shower chair.

Cruisin in my shower with my bath chair
My father-in-law is 82 years old and his knees were at their best 30 years ago so standing in the shower to take care of cleaning himself can be a challenge. We searched high and low to find a shower chair that could have the right features that would fit his needs. We hit pay dirt with this ELAORY Shower Chair.Being able to support 350 pounds overall and 330 pounds for a heavy duty back is a big plus. Additional pluses are the padded arm chairs which make it comfortable to sit in. The light weight aluminum that it is made from (7.1 pounds) and the great rubber suction feet make it lightweight and easy to maneuver. When my father-in-law is ready to take a shower the chair is already in the shower ready to go as he stores it there. This makes it much easier when it's time to shower. He commented that the chair is very comfortable to sit in and in fact he likes to turn it where his back is against the water so that he can feel the hot water run against his back giving him a feel of a massage. If you're looking for a very good shower chair you can't beat the quality and features of this ELAORY Shower Chair.

Comfort in the Shower
We had different types of shower chairs for my mother, father and husband, but my personal favorite will have to be this ELAORY Shower Chair. It has more features than the ones I have used in the past and it only weighs 7.1 Lbs. No tools are needed to put the aluminum chair together and there are 6 different seat heights to choose from by adjusting the legs of the chair. Now I am able to find the seat height that works best for me. What also makes this bath chair different than the other chairs is it has padded arms and a reinforced back that can support up to 330 lbs. The maximum weight recommendation for the chair is 350 lbs. Whenever I sit down, I need a back to lean against otherwise I get horrible back aches, so I especially like this chair. Other features I like are the padded handles on the arms and the seat is padded. I am going to feel spoiled with this chair! Our main shower is in a deep slippery tub, so I am relieved that there are 4 nonslip rubber suction feet on the chair. One last thing is they included a hanging shower caddy so store your bath items in. This is a really nice bath chair which I am enjoying. I recommend this chair.

Non slip shower chair
The shower chair has a lot of things going for it. First the feet on the bottom of the chair are larger than the legs and have a nonslip suction feet. The height of the chair is adjustable. The chair has arms on each side that have a coating on them to help grip. The seat is comfortable. It also has a back for support. Included in this is a shower caddy so you can store your bath items right there in the bag and have that next to you on the chair. The maximum weight for this chair is 350 pounds. This chair feels very secure and stable.

Not stable on textured tiled shower floors.
While this chair serves its purpose, you must take extra caution when utilizing. I have a tiled shower floor & the rubber leg grips are not stable, they do not grip the tiled floor. Extra caution must be used as recommended in the instructions when sitting & standing-do not use the hand rails, the chair will tip over. Do not recommend for a dependent or elderly person unless an assistant is available to monitor safety while in use.
