The giant water beads were a good size. They break really easily but the kids enjoyed them. The smaller water beads were microscopic. They did not get very big at all. I bought them so I could fill a small pool. They did nothing in the grand scheme of things. Plus they got smaller after about 15 hours in the water. If you are buying these for the smaller beads look elsewhere. You will be disappointed.

First, I didn't know they made giant water beads. Second, I need more in my life. The kids and I both love them!

My kids love water beads. And luckily they're biodegradable so they break down in the lawn and I don't have to worry about it. The larger ones seem a little larger in the photo than they turn out. The main reason I took a star off was it came in a bag. Its a PITA to store these in a bag unless you're using the whole thing. A container would have been better so I can pour out a bit for them to use
