This product is very easy to install and sturdy. I also purchased a 6 inch outdoor power strip and it fits perfectly into the box. Any power strip larger than 6 inch will not fit.

I purchased this to secure the charging block for my 2024 Prius Prime.Unfortunately, despite the large size, it doesn't fit.It is still a well designed box that I'll keep. The ports are nicely sealed and each has a set of rigid prongs to hold cables in place. Despite the thickness of the charging cable and my 12/3 extension cord, the ports fit fine.It comes with two small padlocks which are easily broken by ven a screwdriver, but I suspect the purpose is simply to keep kids out of it.Really well designed outdoor electrical box for general use cases, but does not fit a Prius Prime charging block.

Bought for my pool pump cord. Perfect solution to my concern for water getting to it and shorting it out or worse yet, electrocuting someone! Great price too!

I’m really happy with this outdoor electrical box. The weatherproof protection is solid—it keeps my outdoor setup safe from rain and moisture without any issues. The box is heavy-duty and durable, exactly what I needed to protect the outdoor stuff year-round, but especially around the holidays. It was easy to install, and the secure padlocks are a nice touch to keep everything safe from tampering. Overall, it’s a great solution for anyone needing reliable outdoor electrical protection.

This seems to be waterproof which is nice but it is hard to get the lid to seat right sometimes. One of the clips holding the lid on snapped off on me on the third time attaching the lid. I will be looking at other options.

This is an easy to use weatherproof enclosure. It's large enough for a power strip (verify the dimensions before you order, some are too long) or a simple extension cord. I used a 3-outlet extension cord and had enough room to put all of the excess cord length inside the box for a very clean look.Negatives would be that the lid is a bit tricky to put on due to the locking tabs, but not enough to subtract s star. Also, be sure the cords are going through the openings straight for the best seal.Five stars.

This box is a little less heavy duty than I was hoping. How water proof is it? The video shows it being mounted vertically, but I would probably only trust it horizontally.It was really, really hard to get the lid aligned to put it back on. I finally found that the key is to get the tab found in the corner lined up with the receiving slot (see first photo).Also, the lip around the edge pushes down pretty hard on any cord sticking out, which makes the lip bend, and puts undue stress on the cord, and may even make the cord pop out of the provided tabs that are supposed the keep the cord in place.Overall, this is an average product.

Four clips on the sides keep the box securely fastened.Price seems HIGH for a thin plastic box.Black color attracts HEAT in FLA sun.
