Good hub with plenty of ports
This is a great hub with plenty of ports. You should note that it does require you to plug it into a socket on the wall/extension lead (hence 'powered').

You can never have too many USB ports!
I run a LOT of USB devices - audio and video equipment, thumb drives, controllers and all sorts - so I'm always keen to test a good hub, and this is a good one. 7 ports is a good number to have available, and the included power adapter does the job for most devices (very hungry devices should be separately powered anyway in my opinion) and I do have devices which can cause random wakeups of my PC if it's sleeping rather than powered off, so having the option to power them off without unplugging has been more useful than you might think. The construction is good - nicely finished aluminium - and the ports are all nicely aligned to their cutouts. The supplied USB3 cable is good quality too and I've had no problems with data throughput at all. For 20 quid it's pretty nice value!

Decent powered USB hub
This is a decent quality USB hub for normal USB-A devices (i.e. not usb-c).Things I like about it:- Metal case- Buttons to turn each port on and off- Proper USB A to B cable to connect to the computerThe only thing is doesn't have are the fast charging ports on some other USB hubs but this is a very minor thing. It seems to work as well as any other USB hub.

Built to take a beating
This thing is solid and clearly built for actual use. The buttons all have a satisfying clunk to them and the connections feel tight and sturdy.I've not had any issues with it so far and have had several devices in at once. I think my only gripe is that it would have been better to be a mix of USB and USB-C than just the rapidly obsoleting USB, but a lot of IT devices are still USB so I guess I can understand why.It certainly feels worth the price to me.

Handy piece of kit to have
A handy piece of kit to haveWhat's in the box1 x Clomnpe mains powered 7 port USB hub1 x Mains power supply1 x lead for pc1 x User ManualBuild qualityThe build quality on this is extremely good, with a very well-made 7-port USB hub.Material qualityThe Materials used for the main hub are that of good quality lightweight aluminium.I bought this as I have so many things being USB powered that my main laptop and PC just haven't got enough USB ports. As a YT Tech reviewer I really struggle as I'm finding that I need more and more USB ports each day but also worried about overloading things, and this is where this comes in handy while keeping everything safe. You can use the hub with all 7 ports on and active as the hub itself has built-in features, and with the ability to just push a switch to turn a port on and off, helps save time in having to pull the USB out.You can use this hub on your PC/Laptop, Macbook or iMac, PS4/5, and Xbox (and I have read that you can use this on an Android tablet but don't quote me on that, as I've got that to try out)The hubs have transfering speeds for up to 5gbps on each port, along with charging capabilities and you can use the ports to use a keyboard, mouse printer, Camera card readers etc, so effectively anything that you would normally use your PC ports for, you can use this hub.The USB 3.0 ports are also backwards capability so you can still use USB 2.0 on tbis hub without issuesAltogether this is a very bit of hardware to have around as it's light enough that you also carry around with you.I would have given this a clear 5/5 stars if I was able to power this via a USB power source as well and not just power it in mains only as this then would have made this even more practical and portableSo it's a healthy 4 out of 5 stars from myself and I would happily recommend this to anyone who needs more USB ports

Metal build, does the job
I was quite happy with this. It powered all my devices as expected and the metal chassis is good for durability and heat dissipation and should prolong it's working life.. The ability to turn off without unplugging certain ports is a nice feature as the majority of things plugged in are not used all the time. Would recommend for anyone that needs to increase the number of ports they have.

A very decent hub
This is a very decent 7 port USB hub that compares well with other, more expensive branded hubs that i use at home. These days, a powered hub is by far the best option for power-hungry peripherals. Having individual switches to save plugging/unplugging is also becoming more essential as the number of USB powered items hanging off the computer increases month on month. This hub works very well, with very decent transfer speeds from an average USB flash or hard drive - it compares well with one I have that was more than twice the price.Overall, I like this hub - it's good value and does just as good a job as the more expensive versions. Recommended.
