Works Well, Until
I bought more than one of these. The first one something went catiwompuss and the blade spun freely while I was grinding ginger, never to work again. I figured maybe I should have cut the ginger in smaller pieces. Stripped gears inside. Okay, my falt I guessed. So I bought another... The second one just stopped. I ground about 1/2 cup oat flour from processed Oats, not even the whole grain. Easy Peasy... Worked perfect, I just love this machine. Until this moment. The on/off switch had taken a bit of coaxing on more than one occasion. But perseverance usually paid off after thumping, shaking, and repeated button pushing. Not this time. I recalled this quitting problem being mentioned in other reviews, but I wasn't going to have it, I had a project in progress and I needed my oats ground. But try as I might, it would not come back to life. Luckily I have other small grinders to finish the job. I gave it to my home schooled grandson to dis-assemble and trouble shoot for his small appliance repair class. If his report is worthy, I will post his diagnosis.

Received recently. Part of my first use….
Well, you get what you pay for. For my frequency in use the price was right. I’m trying to grind a soft avocado seed that’s I’ve cut into smaller pieces. I’m using pulses to avoid overheating or even total breakdown. It’s unable to grind much after the seed reaches a certain size. That smaller size is mostly getting “kicked” around in the container. I imagine that’ll apply to most things but maybe not if it starts out full to the top. I just hope I can get what I want to do done before anything happens to it. Oh, yes, noise level is high. Im still working w it so ease of cleaning is yet to be determined.

Didn’t even last a year
UPDATE: The company kindly reached out and offered a replacement grinder which I accepted and will see if this one holds up longer than the previous one. I felt the need to update my review in light of the prompt and courteous customer service. In between the time I left the original review and the company contacting me- a few days maybe- I’d already purchased a model from a different well known company I’d used in the past. The kaffe model in comparison is much quieter.Bought in November 2023 and it’s currently beginning of August 2024… it lasted 9 months before it broke, having used it once a week maybe. That’s terrible value. Won’t be buying from this brand again.

Works great
I originally had trouble getting the grind right, but the instructions are right on the box with pictures of desired result - 10 seconds gives a coarse grind all the way to 25 seconds which gives a very fine grind. I’m finding that 15-16 seconds works best for me.

Great grinder!
I needed to replace our old grinder, and wasn't sure what to get. I wanted small and easy, and this fits the bill! Great little grinder, we use about 1-2x a week. It's going strong, and is easy to use. Highly recommend!

Good Home Option
The Kaffe Coffee Grinder Electric is a decent option for home use. It's compact and easy to use, which is great for grinding coffee beans quickly in the morning. The design is sleek and modern, fitting well in my kitchen without taking up too much space. However, I found that it can be quite noisy during operation, which might not be ideal for early mornings or quiet moments. In terms of grind consistency, it's satisfactory for drip coffee and French press, but not the best for espresso due to some inconsistency. Overall, it's a functional grinder for the price, suitable for casual coffee drinkers who prioritize convenience over absolute grind perfection.
