The description of the product is quite clearly of an Active Map (a durable, semi-waterproof coated map) and it quite clearly isn't (it's a regular paper map). It's too late for me to return it before leaving, so let's hope the forecast is wrong and it does not turn into a blob of papier mache as soon as we hit the hills :(
