Very good, definitely a worth buying for the collection!
Very good, but not quite great. I own 25+ IEMs of varying prices ranging from $20-$600+ so I have a reasonable basis for comparison to other IEMs. Each of them have a unique sound and I have found that to my taste, a higher price does not always correlate with better sound. The Himalayas come very nicely packed that looks like a $300 IEM should look. They come with the earbuds, a fantastic cable that has 3 interchangeable heads (2 balanced and 1 unbalanced), 3 sets of interchangeable nozzles each with a different sound, a variety of different size and types of ear tips and a nice leather-like semi-hard zippered case to hold it all. The earbuds themselves are beautiful and have a weightiness that exudes quality. The nozzles are on the shorter side so it takes some swapping of eartips to get a solid, sealed fit for me years. Generally I use extra large tips. If I could change anything about the Himalayas I would provided extended nozzles.Let me first say that NICEHCK recommends that they earbuds be broken in for 100 hours before assessing them and I have not yet had time to do that so my evaluation is based on the right out of the box units. I'll try to update my review once I reach the magic 100 hours. I previewed the Himalayas using my FiIo M17 playing all types of music played FLAC format. I also previewed them with the different nozzle and with different eartip combinations. Overall all I found these IEMs to sound great, strong but not overwhelming bass, midrange and treble - very pleasing to my ear. Not spicy at all so they are comfortable to listen to...just the way I prefer it. Excellent clarity and detail, particularly on deep jazz tracks and files with strong instrumentals and vocals. I found that they reproduce all types of music very, very well. If value was not a consideration I would give them easily 5 stars. If price is no object then the Himalayas are definitely one to add to the collection. My only rationale for a 4 star rather than 5 star rating is the price; the value is just not as good as some of the competition in my view If price / performance is important then its just not the best value out there and I would have to think hard about whether to add them to the collection because there are others out there that sound equally as good and costs significantly less.Don't get me wrong, this is a very, very good IEM, but not quite great in my opinion. But is the price does not bother you then I would definitely give them a try.UPDATE: I burned them in for 50 hours playing various music and noticed no change in their sound. Still very good, but not great and therefore are not the best value in this price range in my view.UPDATE #2: I have listened to these IEMs for more than a month now and the more I listen to them the more I like them. I did change out the original cable for a pure copper cable and all of this has caused me to increase my review from 4 to 5 stars. This one is worth buying.

Pricey but premium quality
Brace yourselves, audiophiles! These titanium earbuds were forged by ancient dwarven blacksmiths in the fires of a space shuttle engine for true intergalactic sound immersion. With dual magnetic drivers riding twin carbon nanotube chariots, you'll experience thunderous bass and piercing trebles.Easily toggle between sound signatures by switching out the "acoustic tubes" like some wizard-swapping wand cores.Detachable cables free you from pesky cords unless you're into that sort of thing. All this, plus enough accessories to survive an audio-pocalypse!Your mind will be blown - just don't let your ears follow suit.It is simply unavoidable audiogasmic awesomeness.Still, the over-the-ear headphones are hard to beat, but they're much bulkier than these. So if you can afford this, go for it!
