Bold floral flavor and malt.
As a young child I was weaned on tea and have developed an affinity for it. In my international travels I have tested and tasted many varieties of tea - in the Far East and Europe, cheap to absurdly expensive, Chinese, Japanese, Indian and Ceylonese (Sri Lankan), single estate to blended. Some were disturbingly bitter while others were nauseatingly sweet with many bland and unremarkable flavors in between. The Buckingham Palace Garden Tea derives its name from being served at an annual tea party that the Queen hosts each May. The three to four thousand guests are prominent members of the British Commonwealth, the aristocracy and the royal family. The tea is delivered in a 16 oz resealable bag. On inspection, it appears to contain no mixed-in fillers and has a heavy floral malty scent of oxidized rolled black tea leaves and buds.It is a blended tea of pure Ceylon Earl Grey with soft jasmine from Fujian Province, Borengajuli estate malty Assam, flavory Hatton Dimbula Ceylon mixed with Kambaa and Kagwe from East of Rift Kenya. When brewed - best to add 1 teaspoon to 6-8 ounces of boiling water and let steep for a minimum of 5 minutes - it produces a deep red-purple solution with a bold taste. The longer the steeping time, the darker and more bitter tea will result. The residual wet leaves triple their size and cannot escape through a standard tea strainer, leaving no sediment in the cup or teapot. To make iced tea, add five teaspoons to a 1 quart/liter of boiling water and let steep for a minimum of five minutes. Transfer to a pitcher through a tea strainer and add ice. It is normal for the solution to turn cloudy when ice is added and/or if placed in the refrigerator. The brewed product is one of the most flavorful British teas, best served as a postprandial beverage, evening or afternoon “high tea” with scones and cucumber/watercress sandwiches. May add milk, cream or sweetener to taste. When first introduced to a child, it is best to add a sweetener -a teaspoon of honey or sugar. If one is used to drinking the product of the popular brand tea bags, it would be best to sample this brew before investing in its purchase.Copyright Sinohey.

This has been my favorite since I bought some similar tea at Buckingham Palace during our last visit to London.

A reliably good tea at a bargain price.
A good, reliable loose leaf tea. Moderate caffeine level, low to moderate astringency, hard to screw up on the brewing. Good on ice. This is my second order of this tea, and I imagine I'll be coming back for more later on, especially if the prices remain so low on this tea.

This is the best tea!
I love this tea, I’m on my third bag. It’s delicate and delicious, good quality, and so pretty in its dried form!

Tea time
The tea is great but the bag of tea arrived with a large rip in the side. Outer packing was good. That means it was put in the shipping bag already torn. Good thing I am putting it in a tea caddy.
