Excellent lab ware detergent.
Far cheaper from Amazon then from typical Lab supply company like Fischer Sci. No shipping charges and fast delivery. Is you need materials clean and want to avoid alkali soaps and phosphates that attack glass and tarnishes metal this is great stuff to use with brushing or an ultrasonic bath.

Magic Bullet
Ok only used the product once, but it cleaned my brass. I process a lot of rifle cases at one time and this product seems to clean everything inn my ultra sonic cleaner. Rifle brass is easy to clean on the out side with regular cleaners but the primer pockets always seem to never get fully clean. I used a 50:1 on one batch and cleaned them well with minimal tarnish. I cleaned the first batch at 1:1 and it cleaned everything and caused discoloring in the brass and turned some pink. I am working on the next batch as I type that is more of a correct ration some were at 75:1 The brass is clean and primer pockets are clean. Even with the diluted Citranox the brass has clean shine, note the brass is still yellow without any pink or other discoloration. Other note it is a liter yellow finish than new brass, new brass has a nice yellow shine after cleaning with citranox the brass is yellow but a lot liter of a yellow. So not sure if or what affects that has on the brass or the life of the brass. But if you must have clean brass and use an ultra sonic cleaner this will do the job.

Much Better Fired Brass Cartridge Cleaner
I have used the DIY Vinegar/Dawn soap recipe, then progressed to the reloader ultrasonic brass cleaners (Frankford Arsenal/Hornady/Lyman), but always had burnt on carbon remaining on the cartridge's interior base. I read good reports by other reloaders on the Internet about this product not only being a superior cleaner but as half the concentration and at about the same per quart cost.I just ran 100 brass cases with persistent burnt on carbon that could not be removed after three cycles of the other ultrasonic cleaners. One cycle with Alconox and the difference was noticable, after two cycles 90% of the brass that couldn't be cleaned where totally cleaned...the other 10% only had very minor carbon fouling remaining. Great product and at a long term cost savings.

AWSOME , AWSOME, AWSOME PRODUCT
I bought this with 100 % intensions of cleaning fired brass casings. And I have to tell you, In my ultrasonic cleaner, this stuff is the BOMB. It cleans the inside and out, primer pockets are super clean, and the most Awsome feature is all you have to do is rinse it off. Let rounds dry and start reloading, I put mine on a cookie sheet in the oven on 200 degrees, for 15 min, and all the water is evaporated and no soap stains. Just Buy It.

Great aluminum cleaner
Works best when mixed with hot water. Exceptional results using it to clean in a high-power ultrasound cleaner with hot water. You may be disappointed if you use it with cold water as it will take longer to work. Does a great job cleaning aluminum without chemically damaging the finish. Highly reccomended.

First impression
Got this next day. Impressed. Used it right away and I'm comparing a homemade 'brew' of dish soap, salt, water and lemon juice also same ingredients but instead of lemon juice I used vinegar. So far, this is best. It doesn't do the exact same on all my brass casings but overall does a very good job. I'll admit I follow sonic cleaning with tumbling. Now that makes them really shine. Again, not every case but certainly 98% of them. The home brew could sometimes make some of the cases pinkish. Haven't noticed that with Citranox. Stuff is expensive yet it's cheaper than the others that I could find AND since one gallon of this stuff makes 75 gallons of mix, at my age, I figure I only need one gallon since I don't spend a lot of my time reloading. A thousand rounds will do me for six months. I used this stuff on two batches of 9 mm brass shells about 125 shells in all. Second batch every bit as clean as the first. But again, for real shine (and a slight lube on the cases) tumble them afterward.

Don't let your brass hit the air with this on it
I drop my brass in to soak until I have time to deprime and send it through the sonic cleaner. The water level dropped so some were sticking out. That part sticking out got a funny rusty-looking deposit that could be scrubbed off but what a pain.Soak brass about 3-4 days. Run it through a sonic cycle 2-3 times, and it's acceptably clean.

Good cleaner
I used the Citranox to clean a large chiller system on a machine in the factory. It ran for 12 hours with a solution and it cleaned very well. Got all the dirt and orange colored stuff out of the system. I will be using it again in the future and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good cleaning agent.
