Very good products
I have now used several dyes from Jacquard, this being the second colour and for natural fabric rather than polyester as before. I'm very happy with the results of everything I've dyed. The process is easy and the colours very true to the picture on the packet. They arrive in good time, allowing for them coming from California to Scotland and I will definitely used them again. Highly recommended (and it is very hard to find polyester dyes).

Dyes pram/stroller fabric like a champ!
Bought two packets to dye some really faded polyester stroller material for a Phil and Teds explorer. The material had faded to an unsightly purple over the years (was originally black). At first I was a bit worried it wouldn't work as the pram fabric is 100% polyester and waterproof(a big initial concern). An hour in a huge pot of boiling water with two of these packets though, followed by a washing machine cycle to remove any unabsorbed dye got the fabric to almost its original color. Be careful you don't splash any of the dye on any appliances with plastic coatings. A bit of it splashed onto the oven door of my stove and my diswasher and now I have two seemingly permanent small spots on them that nothing I've used can get off. Just be sure to protect any and all plastic, fabric surfaces around the area you're working on and you'll be fine. This dye helped me revive a very faded looking stroller into one that I have since gotten compliments on.

Takes hours of rinsing to remove this dye from your washing machine!
This dye worked fine, not the best, the colour was ok , dark but more greeny than grey. However it took me running my machine 9 times after the dye was added and the rinse wash was preformed on the dyed items. That 9 3hour cycles totalling 27h of washing!!!I put a colour catcher in each wash to see if the dye was still present see photos and I was shocked at the results. After cycle 3 was still grey I added bleach to the drum as stated by the website as a last resort and it turned the grey dye pink! Finally after the 9th cycle the colour catcher came out white.I’ve used Dylon machine dyes in the past and they are more expensive but definitely don’t stay in your machine as long. Thank goodness I didn’t wash my white company sheets in here without 27 h of rinsing!!!Would not recommend will not use it again. It’s cost me a fortune in running costs.

Don't expect miracles, do expect your home to smell like an industrial plant for a day.
Tried with 2 pairs of swimwear, one cream, one purple and a cream polyester laundry bag (more as an experiment than anything). The process is pretty unpleasant. The smell of the pot boiling with the chemicals is... revolting. This is nothing like dying cotton. I left the pot on the boil for about 1.5 hours, a little over the recommendation. I then let the items cool naturally outside in the solution for another hour. The items retained the chemical smell after washing, though it was much more bearable. They were all considerably darker, but none could be called black. In fact, Dark green would be closer to the description, which, if I'm honest, I quite like. The smell dissipated by the next day, except from the dyed items, which still smell like a pair of used lab technician's rubber gloves.

It works well, just pay attention to the instructions ...
It works well, just pay attention to the instructions, you need to wear gloves. You need to cover all your kitchen surfaces to prevent splashing and staining of work surfaces etc. You will ruin a pan and any other instrument you use. You need to be in a well ventilated space (it really stinks). The colour worked well & evenly on the item I dyed, there has been some dye transfer after I've dried the item maybe because I stuck to the minimum time suggested. This is because I did not want to shrink the item too much.

What a transformation - amazing dye!
I picked up a free armchair off of FB marketplace hoping that we could get a slipcover made. We were quoted £££s so we thought we could take the removable covers off and try dying them. Great decision! Look at the before and after! Like a new armchair! 👍🏻

Quality product, that does work
Great product, had a white dress that was two fabrics dyed first with Dylan, cotton section jet black but stitching and rest of dress dirty white, then noticed it said polyester, I thought it was just the lining, so bought IDye Poly, worried about the smell and reviews, bought the cheapest pot, boiled the kettle twice, poured it in, then the dye then the enhancer, smell not as strong as painting my nails, so not that bad. It looked jet black on drying a bit more faded but still black, I'm going to buy another packet and do again, to go from white to black is some feat, give his product a chance, I bought the dress in the sale, I love it in white and the shape just wanted a second one in black for Christmas, for those fashionistas its looks a good copy of the designer "Self Potrait" so for 30 quid and the cost of two dyes well worth it

Beautiful Color
I purchased the Lilac. It is a very Blue Purple and is beautiful. I used the stovetop dying method recommended to give the darkest color and it did not disappoint. We wear T-shirts at work and the heavyweight brand I like did not come in colors so thought why not get white and dye them. I did 2 in this lilac and purchased pink dye to do at a later date. I've added a picture so #1 you can see how blue the lilac is on a cotton shirt and #2 so you can see that not all threads on a cotton shirt are cotton as the stitches didn't dye. Won't drive me crazy at work but I may have had to rethink dying this tshirt brand in the future. it was not the dye's problem it was beautiful as promised.

Follow the instructions online for stovetop!
This dress has been through a lot. It was olive green, I got bleach stains on it and was so sad about it. I wanted to just bleach it all and dye it a new color and chose this blue. I bought 2 packs and used both of them. Thankfully my dress is cotton and rayon otherwise I don't think it would have worked this well. They have other dye for polyester and other material so make sure you're buying the right kind. Exceeded my expectations! You can find the instructions online if you look for the brand and instructions. If you're lazy, it's here:Stove top method:1. Fill a stainless steel or enamel pot with just enough hot water for the fabric to move freely. Turn on medium to high heat.2. Add the iDye (for natural fibers) or iDye Poly (for Polyester or Nylon) soluble dye packet to water and stir.2a. For iDye Poly; open the included Color Intensifier packet and empty into dyepot.3. Add pre-washed wet garments or fabric and raise temperature to a simmer.4. Add one cup (237 ml.)of salt for cotton, linen and rayon. Add 1/3 cup (78 ml.) of white vinegar for silk. Avoid pouring directly onto fabric.5. Maintain temperature and stir frequently for ½ hour (or up to an hour for darker colors or iDye Poly).6. Rinse, then wash the garment with HOT water and a mild detergent and dry.I will be purchasing this dye again in the future if I need something recolored. :)
