A Really Fun Way to Learn Spanish or English Vocabulary
This interactive poster is such fun way to learn your first 100 words in either Spanish or English (you choose which), and although it is geared towards young children, I think everyone in the family would enjoy using the poster (placed in a central location, it would be a great family activity, a stick on hanging hook for the poster is included in the box). The poster is not paper, it's vinyl (and it seems durable) and it's Touch Sensitive, so you basically Touch to turn it On, Touch to select English or Spanish, and then you Touch the picture of the word you'd like to hear in either Spanish or English (I selected Spanish and the pronunciations are nice and clear). This poster is battery operated and your first set of batteries are already installed, you just have to pull out a clear tab protruding from the back of the battery compartment and then the poster can be turned on. I highly recommend this fun learning method and I would be interested in a series of these posters to learn additional vocabulary words.

Neat learning tool; responsivity is too touchy
This poster is very thin, flexible, and definitely large. You cannot use it on your lap or while sitting on the couch. It must be hung or used on the floor or a table. For it to work best, it needs a hard surface behind or under it. We found the responsivity to be too sensitive at times. You must be very intentional about what picture you select and push. But it's a great learning tool; my 4-year-old kiddo enjoys practicing Spanish words with it.

You don’t even feel like you’re doing work
My 7 year old granddaughter gave it a 10 out of 10! It came with batteries and the buttons were easy to understand. It was fun for us both and I liked how bright the colors on the mat were. The music and the voice are clear and as a Pre-K teacher, it’s great for a classroom.

Bilingual Electronic Poster
Being bilingual is to everyone's advantage. I got this toy/educational tool for my 3 year old nephew who (like me) is of mixed ancestry. He primarily is an English speaker since our entire family is however we want him to be familiar if not fluent in other languages connected to his heritage. Having Spanish as one of those languages would help him in the future for school but also in the work place and in society in general. I like that this toy/tool is capable of entertaining him in both English and Spanish and he particularly enjoys the full length songs in the music section. The one thing I have to say I did not find too satisfactory is when the electronic voice uses "the" when saying the English words. For example, instead of just saying "broccoli" it will say "the broccoli". I'd prefer it just say the name of the object. I know that in Spanish saying "el" or "la" for example is part of the flow of speech form but it is not always the case in English. Anyway that is a minor thing for me but really it is an excellent product and the speaker is very clear. I am glad I chose this item.

Precise and clear diction
I was appreciative that the GUFINO Poster came with the 3-AAA batteries required for operation, but the screw to secure the battery case was not aligned with the hole, so I had to drill a hole in the plastic battery case for the batteries to remain in the case. Once the batteries were secured, the game mat was fully operational. The plastic mat was advantageous because the kids’ often sticky fingers’ residue was simple to wipe from the surface after play. The volume was adjustable, the dictation of words was precise and clear, and I liked that the words were spelled out both in English and Spanish on the mat. The quiz function was a fun way, too, to reinforce memorization of the words.

They LOVE it!
It was nice that it came with batteries, because as soon as we opened it, my 5 and 6 year old sat down and started pressing the buttons. They soon found the quiz, and with a little guidance to get used to where the groups are, they couldn't stop. Even our pit bull was engrossed and sat next to them, tilting her head cutely and watching intently! Since I was sitting with them also, I started to say the Spanish words to give them a head start. As soon as they found out it can hang on the wall, we put it up and they kept it playing music every time they're in their room! I love that the music is bilingual also. I could hear them singing and dancing along earlier today. I'll be using the groups in this mat to teach their Spanish lessons for the next little while, so that they will be able to do the quiz in Spanish soon too! Great way to get kids engaged, learning, and test them without the stress of pass or fail. Awesome educational toy, definitely recommend!

Absolute success!
This bilingual electronic poster has been a hit for our toddler. It comes with the batteries installed, which is amazing because we used it immediately as we took it out of the box. Our kid enjoys playing and learning with this tool. He touches each image and repeats the new word after it.All of us have so much fun watching him.

Good language adjunct
Doesn't replace a Spanish class, but this brightly colored electronic poster has pictures of many objects: push a button to hear the word in English or Spanish. Curiously, in English the article is also used; e.g. "la manzana" in Spanish is natural, but "the apple," though accurate, isn't as natural as just "apple." Sound quality is clear, but the music can annoy adults. Good adjunct for Spanish or English learning though.
