I like this cord. It's not as sturdy as standard paracord, but it's not as flimsy as the stuff that comes with most tents, tarps and flies. It is VERY reflective, and works well with the latest bent red anodized aluminum cord adjusters if you're using those instead of a tent hitch. You have to have them threaded correctly though - over the convex side of the bend.Also, I unwound about 75% of the spool looking for the heat splice mentioned in some other reviews, but found none. It would have been worth it just the same at this price point. Got mine for $20. I found something similar at EMS for $0.30 per foot, or $30 per 100 feet. At half again as much for two-thirds the price, I'd have lived with the splice. I'm very happy with my purchase.

So I ordered this almost exactly a year ago, from the same seller as is currently up there July 2019 (Carowo). I had only used a few short meters over this time for some guy lines. I realized I was probably going to need more, but before ordering noticed the recent reviews showing how this is NOT a solid 50m cord, but rather several shorter pieces, lightly heat spliced together.Curious if this was a recent occurrence or if it had been ongoing, I started unrolling my spool. Yup, sure enough, after you get through a few levels of outer wrapped cord, you find where they took a small torch and heat-spliced separate pieces together.Absolutely unacceptable as this is not stated anywhere in the product description. Not only aren't you getting a full length of cord to cut as you please, you won't be entirely sure what each separate length might be. And this affects how much effective use you get out of it. For example, you want 20' length cord sections: with a single 164' piece you can get 8 sections; with 3 spliced together sections (say 50', 50', 64'), you can only get 7.Now I'm not entirely sure if this fault of the Seller (Carowo), or the brand actually making it (Saxtx). This appears to be all Chinese stuff, so who knows where the fault lies. Either way, I would stay away from this spool, unless you are fine with dealing with potentially unexpected waste.That all said, the cord itself is strong, holds up well in strong winds, and is very reflective; all reasons why I wanted more of this, but am extremely disappointed and looking for something different. So, I'm hitting them with a one-star, in order to highlight this issue for all. Ideally, this cord would get 5-stars for its usefulness, but deceptive practices like this need to be highlighted.

I like the strength and reflectivity of this cord. It's very visible in reflected light at night, and the red color is pretty visible during the daytime. I makes great guylines, and comes in handy for securing tarps, and even lawn chairs during windy conditions. I've used it to secure woodpile covers, and temporary shade tarps, even in fairly windy conditions. It works well with guyline tensioners, and doesn't seem to stretch under load. I like this cord, and will buy again when I need more of it. I recommend it to anyone who needs strong, small diameter reflective cord.

Great stuff for guy lines, clotheslines, camp utility. Strong and not too stretchy. Works well with accessory line tensioners and knots and releases neatly. I wouldn't want to work it all day long, but it's fine for making lines for camp. Excellent reflective properties for night safety. Comes on a nice spool and stays tidy.

As so many other people have noted, the manufacture is cheating by not winding a continuous 164 ft of line. The spool I received consisted of two sections of 50 ft. then the last section was the remainder. I didn't buy two different lengths of line, I bought one length of 164 ft. Shady and greedy practice. That said, the product is of decent build for tent or canopy guy line use. All nylon construction with 4 individual internal lines. The reflective addition works well. A shame about the greed, it would be a solid 5 product if not for that. I will not purchase from this manufacturer again.

Very reflective and durable. I only had one small section I had to cut out. it was a joint in the sheath or something and it didn’t get formed correctly. But that’s the only issue so far.

Good cord and large amount for the price. Has many uses and with the glow strands in it, make this high visibility. Most outdoor stores sell 50' for the same price.

I was looking for some cord that was really reflective for a dog collar. I tried a few different things, but this is working best with the most reflective material.
