Prowell F59 Cycle Helmet ** Free Shark Fin Light worth £5.49 **

Whilst I haven't had the misfortune of 'testing' this helmet with respect to its performance in a collision, I can say that I am happy with it so far. It looks good, is fully adjustable with a wheel that you can turn to tighten or loosen the band that sits round your head and it looks quite good too. It's fairly comfortable, is light weight and is perfect for what I need. If I was cycling in London or more frequently on the roads, I may have spent more on a helmet by a better known manufacturer but riding round the countryside on my mountain bike in light traffic, this is what I was looking for.The bundled red LED light is excellent - it has a variety of modes, is very bright and appears to be made for this helmet as it sits perfectly on the back which will help car drivers see you at night time.No complaints so far, lets hope I don't put it fully 'to the test' but so far so good.

Great Value.Excellent Cycle Helmet. Picked the Red & Black but lots of colour choices to keep all happy! It is lightweight & strong design (which also improves the look of it) Very adjustable to fit perfectly.Safety reflective also an added bonus.The Free light is great.The visor can be pulled down a bit and protects better than my last Helmet. Prefer the contruction of this one inside & out. There is a generous padded shaped roof lining that can be removed (attached by velcro) rather than the usual small pads that move in other helmets. Only decision to make is what colour? Bought the large size all good. Would buy Prowell Cycle Helmet again ;o) Good Value well well thought out design. Watched video online testing how strong it was compared to traditional construction impressive hitting with a bat! Would test my old Helmet but want to keep as spare but don't think it would do so well in test!

This is a pretty good helmet, especially for the price. It took me a little while to adjust it so it didn't slip back on my head but once I'd figured it out it sits really well. The only thing I'm unsure about is that there isn't much cushioning between the helmet and your skull - although the design means this is still comfortable enough to wear (if adjusted properly for your own head). I did get an imprint on my forehead the first few times I wore it but I don't think that happens anymore.

Well this product is made of a fairly strong construction, has a good build specification/ standard which ensures reliability when needed!!! The only reason this product doesn't get a 5 star is that the sticky verco bits that are mounted inside the helmet tend to part from the helmet too easily. Spare sticky velcro bits are supplied however are not too great. If you are looking for a fairly decent helmet for the money which will protect your noggin when needed I would recommend this product. I also have a fairly odd head size roughly 58cm and I find the large to be perfectly accommodating. I hope you find this review helpful.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this looking for something safe, something modern, and something complying to safety regulations. Easy to fit with the adjustable rotating wheel at the back of helmet which is easy to operate when you are wearing it.After much looking around i decided on this after measuring the circumference of my head and went for a medium fit and opted for the matt black colour (now it is more matt grey rather than black). Though it is very light weight, the finishing on the internal foam could be better but the outside looks great with a reflective strip along the edge.It arrived in a box along with:1. a visor if you want to fit that on (its not too hard and snaps into place.)2. instructions to adjust it to fit your head.3. some Velcro stickers to further secure the inside padding, though they seem sufficient enough.2. Shark Fin red 3 LED multifunctioning light with battery included (always stays on, flashes intermittently, and then rapidly flashing), they also supply a seat post fixture so you can either put this on the back of your bike or on the top of your helmetI've attached a small clip of the video with the lights as i am sure you don't want to spend ages pondering over it.

Great helmet- was a little more silver instead of white than I expected. It's essentially a silver helmet with a white visor that clips on. Very nice looking.The shark fin is an added bonus that clips onto either the bike or can be attached to the helmet, where I put mine. 3 light settings- constant, slow, fast. Battery replaceable and water resistant.I measured my head before I ordered was on the borderline between M and L, so I ordered L knowing my hair can add cms. Perfect fit. It's easily adjustable both horizontally and vertically across the head. The chin straps adjust 4 ways. There's a soft fabic covering to prevent irritation also on the chin strap.A few extra velcro pads to fit helmet lining perfectly and a couple stickefs thrown in. I'm a happy cyclist.

I don't normally bother writing reviews but due to the good quality & value of this helmet I felt it was worth changing my habit of a life time.Very easy to adjust , both for holding comfortably on my head and a further simple to use adjustment for how high off my head the helmet sits.The provided instructions are also very good and simple to understand both the written and picture instructions.Plus finally, the sharks fin led light is a great addition! comes with a helmet clip which is easy to remove the light from plus a saddle post clip so if you wanted, the light can be used on the bike just below the saddle.In my opinion, I got much more than what I paid for. :-)
