Baileaf is a truly impressive brand.I use these shorts and cooler weather for workouts, they're very nice. The pockets are really good and the one zippered pocket makes it really nice to keep my phone and wallet in place.It's totally impressive what they have done. Their products seem to be really well made, they last a long time, they're comfortable, they fit consistently and they are a super bargain price

Baleaf delivers again. First time buying work out apparel. I’ve bought a lot of cycling apparel. Excellent quality, fabric is high tech, washes well. The cut is a little big, I bought a medium and the waist is big.

Very comfortable and breathable. I like that there is a zipper pocket to hold things in place while on the move.

I always wear medium in various shorts / pants brands (including other Baleaf products!!) and these are poor fitting. Something with the waistband seems off because the built in compression shorts fit fine. It’s just the waist that fits loosely and feels cheap.Doubtful washing/drying helps at all but I’ll update if it does. As of now this is a do not recommend.

These shorts are fine, but the materials and fit are extremely run of the mill. They're actually very similar to some New Balance, Reebok, and Champion shorts that I've worn in the past, but I paid far less for those.

Try good for gym workouts...

These were the perfect solution for my husband’s worn out 10 year old gym shorts . Ordering another pair today.

Everyone complaining about the waist likely just bought their regular size without checking the size chart and ended up with shorts that were too big. I am a M in everything but a S according to the chart and the S fits perfectly. These are not shorts that will compete with high end models but priced accordingly around the $25 price point.The pockets are likely pretty useless on runs as anything in them will flop around so I would only recommend using them if lifting or walking or some other activity that won't have them bouncing around.
