Signature Leather Darkening Oil, Hydrophane, Horse Leather Care, 500ml

I used this product to darken a leather motorcycle jacket and it performed admirably.Easy to apply and stains visibly during application, ensuring you don't unnecessarily double up anywhere. I didn't get any unevenness or splotchiness despite this being my first attempt. I used a soft cloth to apply.It dries lighter than the initial stain and I needed two applications to get the desired tone. There was enough oil in the can to maybe get three light coats on the leather jacket (1.2-1.5mm full grain), but definitely not more.It isn't a dramatic colour change, but it was enough for me and it had the added benefit of softening the leather. It took about a day for each coat to dry out so it's worth planning that in, rather than getting oil stains all over everything.

Excellent oil, does exactly what it says own the tin, new black saddle, good brown leathers and hunter breast plate, two applications of Hydrophane now the difference is hardly noticeable.

i had a pair of boots that were far to light... this product slowly darkened them... i did need a lot of applications so don't be scared of using more than you think... it drys lighter than it looks when applied.

I needed to darken a leather jacket, this oil works very well. I believe it treats too.

What a fantastic product. I used it to darken my matchless leather jacket and its worked perfectly. I didn't want a uniform finish and this stuff suited my clumsy slap dash methods- a very forgiving substance. Easy to apply with a medium paint brush and just enough in the tin for the whole jacket. I'd give it ten stars if I could. Brilliant.
