All crossed these super microbes do they work and stop the slugs munching my plants.
First off, the service and delivery was great. Ordered ate Friday and delivery said Mondaay (fair enough), but early Saturday morning there was the product, brilliant, they went the extra mile. The nematodes came in a great colorful box, with clear, understandable and concise instructions.Following the instructions, within 40 minutes they were mixed with water, scattered around the borders, bucket cleaned up and hopefully the 12 million or so super microbes settling in and ready to do their stuff.Time will tell, I know if I plant new bedding plants in 4-5 days (give them time to get cracking), if these microbes are doing the stuff I'll still have plants, whereas the ones I put out 5 days ago 60% were eaten in first 2 nights dispite copper foil and slug pellet deterents. All crossed. If I don't update here, you assume all is great in the garden, if the slime balls do eat the plants I'll come back and report.Certainly these are recommended as the ultimate slug deterent and totally harmless to us, birds, hedgehogs and other critters.

Appears to be effective.
One week after application, there does appear to be a noticeable difference. There are definitely fewer slugs and snails in the garden although they have not been completely eradicated, I have hopes that they will given time.Pay careful attention to the instructions.Wet the areas to be treated before application and apply in the evening when temperatures have dropped. Keep the areas damp from that point on and try not to let them dry out too much wherever possible. As well as your beds, be sure to treat areas where snails and slugs shelter, edges of lawns, around sheds, along paving and fences and anywhere else dark and damp where they might lurk during the day.I will update in a few weeks with a further update. So far, so good.

Good effective slug control
Good effective slug control. I have used 2 treatments this year so far. It seems to have a definite impact on the number of slugs. May have to top up treatment later in the year to deal with different waves of slugs hatching. A little expensive at £15 a treatment but each treatment covers a reasonable area.

Easy to use
I thought that our raised bed might deter slugs, but no these nematodes were easy to use and fingers crossed will save my veg this year.

Seems to have worked
Got this as I'd only ever used nemaslug & thought I ought try other brands. Can't see there's much difference. I'll go with whichever's cheapest next time

Didn’t work
Sadly this product has not solved the slug problem in our garden. Followed all the instructions but 2 days later we still have loads of slugs.

Good for slugs/snails
I have always though that natures enemies would be better than to buy things that for onedon't work at all or are a danger to other wild life. However, I have to admit that I did not use it due to the weather being so hot this year andalso as I was away for a while.Anyway, I will try it next year as I am very likely being overrun with the little/large critters again. All in all though I think that these nematodes are the best way to go unless you got ducks, hedgehogs etc.
