Its lightweight and compact aluminum design makes it easy to carry around, and the material effectively dissipates heat, even during extended use in high temperatures. I've been using it to charge my laptop, phone, and earphones simultaneously in my car, and it performs flawlessly.The inverter operates quietly, producing less noise than my laptop's internal cooling fan. I appreciate the double protection mechanism, which provides peace of mind against potential electrical issues. Although I haven't encountered any problems, it's reassuring to know that the device will automatically shut off and alert me with a red light if necessary.Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this power inverter's performance, build quality, and safety features. It's a great addition to my car accessories, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a reliable and efficient portable power solution when on road trips, camping, etc..

First of all, this inverter comes with a cigarette lighter plug to power it. It does not come with alligator clips to attach to a battery directly. Why can't you pull 400 Watts from this unit in your car? Because the wiring and fusing of your power port, aka cigarette lighter socket in your car will be damaged if you try and pull 400 Watts out of it. The wires and fuses are not designed for that current. That's why you can only run things like laptops or so in your car...maybe up to 150 Watts or a bit more. But if you go camping and want to plug your cooler or small fridge in, you will need to pop the hood and then you attach alligator clips to directly pull power from your battery..then you can get the full wattage or something close. The sideline on the cigarette plug is negative and the protruding tip is positive.Remember that this is rated at 400 Watts so don't be surprised if you can't run more than one big power hungry item at a time. You should still be able to run fans and lights at the same time though. Note that the power it puts out is of a modified sine wave form. Sensitive electronics may not like that. Most things will work just fine.Now let's talk price. This unit is very well priced for what you get. Both the Type C and Type A USB charger ports are quick charge ports. Something the lesser quality units don't have is a simple on/off switch which is on the back of this one.So I bought mine to store away for emergency use. It runs a small cooler I have that also is unplugged and stored away. This inverter is wrapped in bubble wrap and stored in a Faraday bag inside of a steel drum just to protect it from an EMP or solar disturbance. My family has medications that need to be kept cool or they go bad. They go bad and people die. Luckily we have solar power and other inverter backups stored too.I really like this inverter and recommend it.

The 400W Car Power Inverter is easy to use and it works great! It has low noise, charges fast, and is the perfect size for travel - as it doesn't take up much space at all. Overall, I think it is well made, designed, and high quality. I ordered this to give my kids a couple of extra places to charge phones or handheld gaming consoles on car trips. I have an older vehicle but there are still a couple of cigarette lighter receptacles in there. Do understand that 400W is not coming from the cigarette lighter. I think 150-200W max is what you can do that way. Still, this works for the electronics kids can't live without. I like the aluminum construction and the USB ports work well too. Now, if you wanted to run a higher draw item when camping or tailgating or the like, you have to run it right off the battery. I didn't try that with this unit, but I have done so in the past with similar units.Overall, recommend for keeping the kiddos entertained when driving long distances.

Works great for trips keeping the kids things all powered up.

I take my laptop with me and often I need to recharge it while on the go. Since my car is older and basically zero laptops have a cigarette lighter charge option, this is the way to go.Of course it’s only 400watts so I’m not gonna be running any toasters or microwaves off of it but it’s handy if I need to charge my small laptop or other small electronics off of it. 🤙🏼Highly recommended!

Well !! The device does what it supposed to do but unfortunately is not strong enough for my laptop and phone charger use at the same time, and other thing is that the fan is defective “NOT TURNING ON” and unfortunately I throw the Box away or else I will return it and ask for my money back….
