The layout of this bar is ideal. I have it outdoor mounted on the side of a 4x4 post on my deck. The USB ports aren't on top so water doesnt settle in them. It gets rained on and always seems totally fine. It's only been a month out there but it never trips. What else can you ask for?As for the outlets being tough to plug in, that's part of waterproof. When I got it, I just took a plug and stuck it in each slot 2 or 3 times all the way and I never had any issues.

I have used this outlet for several weeks and noticed that my electronics don’t work. Then, I found out that this outlet shuts itself off, which is frustrating. It's a waste of money.

Can’t handle a portable ac with 60 degrees. Needed to increase back to 70 degrees to prevent from melting!

Bought this because on the occasion I do need air it was hard to find a working pump or I didn’t have enough coins for my less then minute of air. I’ve used it a couple times and it works great inflating my tires quickly and it holds a charge for a long time. Every car should have one of these.

I purchased this power strip to connect all of my aquarium gear. The 3rd day I needed to connect a new addition to my FX6 filter and I ended up spilling 5 gallons of water in about 10 seconds! The whole powerstrip was soaked in water and still powered on!I recommend it, it is true to the name, waterproof-resistant. I am happy because if you deal with aquarium equipment, you know there is always water spillage and waterproofing is a must.

This product has gotten me out of a pinch when no where else sold a power bar with a long enough cord. Working from home with limited space and power outlets, this was a must and is highly recommended
