My children love this book so I had purchased this book to gift my friend’s kids as a return gift for a wedding in our family. They all love the book. Indian weddings are so much fun and we enjoyed reading and sharing this book with others as well. Authors have done a marvelous job in writing the book and the big and bright illustrations are perfect for this age group as well. So I highly recommend this book for children age 3-12 yr old.

This is such a gem of a series of books. I cannot thank the authors enough to help me educate my children on our beautiful Indian culture. I purchased this specific book because we have a family wedding coming up and it wonderfully explains what to expect. I have also purchased the Holi book. My plan is to get each book of the series.

Perfect as a gift for a child that doesn't have knowledge of Indian traditions and is about to attend their first series of events for an Indian wedding.

This book is a great way to prepare if you are attending an Indian wedding or simply want to learn more about it. This is the latest installment of the adventures of Maya and Neel, and it does not disappoint! I love the emphasis on the diversity of Indian weddings. While Maya and Neel are attending a wedding in New Delhi, there is also information about weddings in other regions, such as Tamil Nadu, where the bride and groom sit on a beautifully decorated swing! Maya and Neel get to attend all stages of the wedding, learning about fun traditions like stealing the groom's shoes in exchange for a treat! I've loved these books because they are so interesting and fun.These books are always free.I love the holi book the most.These books always has someone who celebrates festivals with Maya and Neil.This has been the best book I have ever read.

My 6 year old and I love this book! As a multi-racial family my son knows a little about Indian weddings but this brought it to a whole new level! He was excited to learn about the different parts of the wedding and it helped answer a lot of his questions. We also learned about many of the fun rituals as we were reading along with him - this book is fantastic! It's the perfect book for anyone who loves to learn about other cultures and especially the special moments that go into an Indian wedding! Tons of fun!

Loved the book! We recently came back from an Indian wedding, and it was fun reading this book with my kids, reliving the food times. And in the "Weddings from different parts of India" I learned a few things as well :)

Content ok, poor print quality, cost too much for that particular book.
