Insulated Flexible Duct R8,HVAC Insulated Flex Ducting 6'' X 25,Silver Jacket-R8 Ductwork,Heating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems

Had AC guy add a vent to a room that was not temp controlled. Works like it should.

Very easy to install and find it doesnt lose the heat from furnace to register! Do need to be careful handling - the outer foil does tear easily. Very satisfied!

Used this insulated duct for my bathroom exhaust vent to prevent condensation in the attic space. The duct was easy to cut to length with a utility knife and a pair of pliers to snip the reinforcing wire. The duct was slightly larger than the original duct to the exhaust fan, so I slipped the original duct inside this one. The interior foil of the insulated duct is quite fragile so care must be taken not to puncture it. The included gloves were handy but somewhat small; I would say they are a medium size. The included hose clamps are large but can be screwed down to a smaller size if needed.

This is going to work great to run an AC/Heat vent to a shed we have. We make an enclosure since its close to the house for this to go through to keep it out of the weather but overall very pleased with the product the insulation keeps the heat/cool contained. Overall great product

Product made in China.Extremely difficult to get inner layer over a 6in metal duct. I ended up having to snip the aluminum duct and bend it in slightly. I suspect that because this is made in China and they use the metric system and 6 inches didn't convert directly so they rounded down making for difficult fit. Aluminum on inner duct tears easily also. I will use what I have but would not reorder or recommend. Look for an American productAnother drawback noted was that the fiberglass insulation was made of very short strands and as a result was crumbly, reminded me a bit of rockwool. Not sure how, or if, this will impact long term quality.Note that Product is not UL181 Class 0 or Class 1 rated

we needed to add a duct to one of our rooms, so i got this to run it. It works excellent. It does require more support, because it isnt rigid, but with the insulation, the air stays warmer.

This Cuchiilo 6" insulated flex duct is a top quality item. The duct is strongly made and has an ample amount of insulation wrapped around the inner tube. Connecting the tube to the plenum or fittings presents no problems. The outer layer of silver coating is thicker than many I have previously worked with. Pulling that layer over the connections and securing with either a clamp or the correct tape went fine.There is a nice pair of white gloves to use when installing and a couple of clamps included also.If you need flexible duct this is a great quality item that is easy to work with. I have more to order and will be checking with this company for the sizes I need first.I am happy to recommend this flexible duct!! 10 Stars!!

Its an exact fit to the duct work underneath my house. Price is in line with the local stores.
