Phlueger has fallen
Bought 4 because ive had great experience with phleuger. Years ago that is. After super delayed shipping…. One rod showed up broke in half because they just threw it in a huge box with no padding. The other rod showed up with one of the guides epoxied on completely off center. Now they dont have enough in stock to replace. What a joke. Sending the last two back.

It kept spooling up on me and then part of the reel falls off into the water.... bummer.. one day outside the return window too.

Quality beyond it’s price level…..
I have always used Pfluger with my spinning-style rods and reels. I bought this combo with the hopes it would match or perform better than its elders. I am happy to say this is a solid performer and tremendous value. I took the combo on a trip to the upper portions of Wisconsin. I had no problems or troubles with it on 15lb Pike and 7lb Smallmouth. I highly recommend this combo. It's one smooth combo for sure.

Nice rod and reel deal!
This was my first bait casting setup. Fair price with great quality. Caught a fish with my first use of the rod. I don’t think the reel is good for casting really light lures. Maybe my adjustments for the reel weren’t correct for the super light lures. Awesome combo for under a hundred dollars.

Disappointing.
I like Pfluger as a brand but the reel on this baitcaster is cheap and disappointing. I returned the product.

Broken
Not only were the eye lits bent and the reel scratched the pole's tip is snapped off.

Awesome combo
I thought I had ordered a 1 piece rod but was 2. Other then that this a suburb, reel easy to use. If first baitcast reel watch a few videos. Casts a country mile. Casts better then more expensive reels I have. Also this is a moderate action it's a softer rod. Great for cranks and jerk baits.

Not bad
I like the rod but the reel is a different story Only had it for about two weeks Caught a few fish with it and the reel is already starting to make a grinding noise.

Broke within 3 weeks, used 5 times max
The tip snapped off for no reason when reeling in, it’s cheap for the price they ask for it ! And now. I have to jump through hoops to get my money back!!
