Good quality, used to transition from bathroom tiles to hall laminate

Used between laminate and kitchen floor as there is a drop. This has worked brilliantly, so brought another for the other entrance too.

I've got a very high hallway which just abruptly drops by 3.5cm into my awful lino kitchen floor that will be upgraded later this year. I have stubbed my toes many MANY times, not to mention how much food has been dropped due to tripping. I've tried many different types of thresholds but they just do not work well with that height difference as they still pose a trip/toe-stub hazard.This one is great - it's very wide, allows a nice gradual incline to the taller floor meaning that my precious big toe is now safe.I cut this down with a grinder, and as it's just a temporary measure until the upgrade, I used strong glue strips to hold it down to the floor. So far, so good!

I've got a transition from laminate to floorboard and the 2cm plus height is too much for my robot hoover. Until the new flooring is fitted, I needed a ramp of sorts for it. This profile is for 3cm so it is screwed in place and not entirely flat (hacked), but it works. It gives my hoover a 'run up'. It is a hack that works for now. I had to cut the bar with a hacksaw and as I have applied it in a weird way, drilled holes and screwed it down. It is good quality, I couldn't see a way that you could bend and change the angle as it is very strong.

Yes it gives measurements, so no fault of the product for being different than expected.Still quite usable and even makes it easier to cross the threshold in a wheelchair.I'm always please to be able to find this sort of thing in black.
