Casio G-shock Gulfmaster Analogue-digital Gwn-1000b-1ajf Men's Watch

The watch is great! It is a Japanese made watch, the downside is, so’s the manual. But, all the instructions are available online, the altitude, thermometer, compass and barometer all seem accurate. You can calibrate them individually if need be, however I didn’t have to do so. I’m just within the range to receive the radio signal from Colorado, and the automatic time signals do get received each night. You can check when it was updated and it seems to happen just after midnight.All in all, I’m very pleased, it is comfortable and really not very big on my wrist. It looks really great too. I’d definitely buy it again and recommend it....

watch is good, but was not what I ordered. I ordered the one with the blue tinted bezel. but it still works great so far.

I've read many times comments from people who choose to buy the Japanese versions of gshock watches and now I see what they're talking about: it's just a better watch altogether, specifically the bands. They aren't the plastic resin bands that are used on most gshocks that I've purchased and seen here in the US, they're more of a neoprene-type material and are extremely kind to your wrist. It's big but not too big, initially tricky to get the hang of (this is the first time I've ever had to refer to the manual, it's not like most gshocks in that regard), and visually pretty impressive, more so than in pictures, and definitely worth the cost difference. If you're gonna get a gulfmaster, or any high end gshock, make sure it's a Japanese version.

Great watch and mostly works as expected. My only complaint is the light which is very poor and the lower display is dim and hard to read. Its certainly not as clear as the date displayed in the product picture unless at right angle under bright light. The light is momentary on only and stays on maybe 2 seconds and is VERY dim. They probably could have put a better strap retainer on there vs. the oversized metal one.

Haven’t had watch long enough to talk about longevity of it. For the record though, shipping was fast. Watch is best looking G-Shock I’ve ever seen or owned. I have quite a few. I have some I’ve never worn yet. This one I bought to wear, wanted a new one to wear and this one is too nice looking not to. It’s a big watch, bigger than most. Biggest of the Casios I own. I have a few different models like this with the temperature, barometer, altimeter and goodies on them also. Not too big though, at least not for me. My wife and others that have already seen it said it was beautiful watch and looked great on me. I have fairly big arms, hands and wrists so on me it doesn’t look as big as it might on some. I’d need to have someone else put it on. It’s a model that sells in Japan so the instructions are only in Japanese. Not a big problem. I just did a web search on my iPhone and found them first try. Just do a search for the watch series and model 5307. I loaded it in my iBooks and it’s just like having the manual but in whatever language you wish instead of like the models made for sale everywhere getting all different languages. For me it also loaded onto my iPad Air2 which has a much bigger screen so it’s great that way. You could also print it if desired. Or just put it on your computer, Smartphone, or which you choose in a file of its own. One thing I didn’t mention is the band. It’s a really nice rubber band. Softer than most G-Shock rubber bands. Any of mine, even my better models. Comes close to my Luminox $900 watch’s band. I would rather have rubber keepers on the strap instead of the shiny steel but that’s just preference. The barometer, altimeter, temperature, moon age, all of the things you bought a watch like this for are right on the money. If that’s what you are looking for you’ll love this watch. I want those instruments for camping, fishing and hunting. Would come in handy for backpacking also. The black face is really sharp looking also. The best of this model of watch by my choice of the three I’ve seen which is blue, white, and this black. You can tell for sure which color your ordering by the model number. The black will be the gwn-1000-1ajf, the blue gwn-1000b. The white I’m not sure. I didn’t pay any attention because I wouldn’t want a white watch. The other colors are a little cheaper. I think that is because they are least in demand. Again this is made only for Japan. I don’t think they’d have a model made just for Japan and it not be a good watch. That’s just my opinion. Buy it! I wouldn’t ever buy this watch. The band is worth about 5 cents. You cannot purchase anything different here in America. They’ll try and tell you there’s nothing else made to fit it. I know there is in Germany, Japan and a couple of other countries. I’ve researched it enough and found them. Seen them being changed on Utube with instructions to get in touch with the places to do it. You must have to get lucky and get in contact with the right person. I’ve Meade call after call. Done all kinds of web searching. No doing. The watch with the band that’s on it I won’t wear. Too uncomfortable.

Love this G-Shock and I wear it to pretty much al the outdoor activities. It actually looks good with formal clothes or casual friday’s at work!

アナデジのG-SHOCKにトリプルセンサーVer.3とTIDE機能が同時に付いたと聞いて早速予約してみました。最近アマゾンでの予約注文は「このざま」連発だったのでヨドバシにしようと思ったのですが、43,000円の値段に負けてダメもとで注文。しかし、今回は無事発売日に到着しました。金曜に届いたのでざっと使い方を取説でチェックし各種設定を済ませ、早速土日に海に持ち出しテストしてきました。ダイビングもやりますが、ダイビングでの使用不可と取説にありましたので、今回は海上と一部水面付近での使用です。＜良い点＞１）フィット感の良い薄いバンド箱から出した時は「なんだこのペナペナなバンドは？　強度は大丈夫か？」と思いましたが、実際に腕にはめて見るとフィット感抜群。特に海水がかかるような場面では、従来の厚いラバー系はややきつめにはめないと水濡れでぐらついたのですが、このバンドは柔らかいので肌に張り付いて良くフィットします。また、ウェットスーツの上からもはめて海に入ってみましたが、こちらもフィット感は良好でした。強度や耐久性はこれからなので、しばらく使ってみます。２）トリプルセンサーVer.3今回初めてトリプルセンサーVer.3を使ってみましたが、精度では専用の機材には及ばないものの、ちゃんと補正して使用すれば使い物になる機能でした。以前買った海外ブランドの同様のセンサーが付いた腕時計が使い物にならなかったので、この点が良かったです。・コンパス基本的に磁北ですが、偏差補正で真北にもなります。船に乗る方なら自差を加えることで、ある程度は自船のコンパスに近づけることができるでしょう。GPS全盛の現在においてコンパスはあまり使わなくなりましたが、何時でも方位がわかるのは良いことです。水中でも試してみましたが、ちゃんと機能していました。・気圧計テストした時、ちょうど日本の東海上を低気圧が通過している最中で、気圧傾向グラフ（過去20時間を記録）から時間とともに気圧が下がっていく様子が良くわかりました。天気も曇りから雨になり、今回のケースでは傾向が当たりました。風が吹くとすぐに海は荒れるので、これは海ではありがたい機能です。・高度計今回は補正だけでテストできませんでした。サイクリングで山に行った時にテストする予定です。３）見やすいアナログ、文字盤、針逃げ機能私は、水がかかるような状況だと、数字を読まないといけないデジタルより、ぱっと見でわかるアナログのほうが優れていると思い長年アナログかアナジデを使っていますが、今回のモデルも黒の文字盤に白の針と非常に見やすいです。また、アナデジの弱点であるデジタル表示の部分に針がかかって読みづらい時でも、針を逃がす機能があるので問題ないです。この機能は非常に便利ですね。４）実売価格が安かった参考価格:61,560円（税込）、実売が43,000円（税込）と見てすぐに予約。この機能でこの値段なら買いです。５）その他もはや当たり前の感はありますが、電波＋ソーラーは便利です。＜改善希望点＞１）TIDE機能にプリセットが欲しいTIDEはホームで設定した都市が基準になっており、地域による差は補正で対応できるので問題はないのですが、できれば、主要なマリンレジャー地域のプリセットが欲しいです。一部のサーファーやウィンドサーファー、マリンジェットユーザーは頻繁にポイントを変えるので、例えば、関東なら江ノ島、伊豆、勝浦、大洗にようなプリセットがあるとより便利です。２）TIDE機能に潮位が欲しい満潮と干潮の時だけでいいので潮位を入れてもらえると潮回りがわかるので、これもより便利になると思います。＜総評＞トリプルセンサーVer.3は既にプロトレックで実現されていた機能ですが、ショックレジストや200m防水でないプロトレックは眼中になかったので、今回の製品は概ね満足のいくものでした。海が現場のプロはもちろん、マリンレジャーを楽しむ方なら持っていて損はないです（ただし、サーファーにはちょっとパドルが重いかな？）。逆にファンションで町使いオンリーならおすすめしません。でかくて重くて使いづらいですし、見てくれも地味なのでこれよりもっと格好の良い製品は沢山あります。海の男が現場で使う道具ですね。

とにかくデザインが気に入って、新型よりこちらを選びました。各種機能がありますが、あまり精度はよくないので、いちいち合わせるのが面倒なレベル。液晶窓もやや小さいため見にくい。しかし、何と言っても全体的なデザインが良いので気に入って使ってます。今はコスパいいので買い時でしょう！

釣りをするで購入。あれから3ヶ月経ちました。大切に扱えば伸縮性・耐久性・耐水性も持続します✨満潮・干潮の時間も分かるし方角も👌充電も簡単だし言う事なしですね✨✨✨

まだ、理解してません、ただ気圧の上下が比較的早く判るので、まずまずです。潮の満ち引きの表示は本当かな？本体はデカイです。
